I was initially very anti-DOC, but after reading all of your posts in the boards, I’m thinking it might be a great idea.
I tend to stress out pretty easily because I’m an EXTREME micro-manager. I’m thinking on the day of the wedding, if I’m left the coordinator of everything, I will turn into a pile of pink slush. =
So calling all bees in Chicagoland!!! If you hired a DOC, who did you book?? Likewise, should I steer clear of anyone??
AND even if you aren’t from Chicagoland, would you mind sharing what you paid for your DOC? I want to be as prepared as possible if we decide to book.

I’ve posed this same question and havent heard anything back. I had one DOC quote me $500 but she said it was negotiable. I think I’m going to offer her $400 to see if she’d do it. She’s pretty new to the business.

In Oklahoma, the going rate seems to be about $500.

im using my Future sis in law since she has been through a wedding already she asked me if she could do it! see if somone in the family or a friend can do it for you.
