Hi Bees,
As things are finally starting to come together, I wanted to look into a Day of Coordinator. I searched the boards and I haven’t seen a recent post on this in a while (and I like to hear first hand experiences), so I thought I would start a new thread.
Any recommendations or suggestions? I would like to stay under $1,000.
Thanks!

@riss128: hello! Did you find anyone? at what time and where are you getting married? Maybe we could go in together haha! I’m looking for someone reasonable too.

I adored my day of coordinator! Her name is Jessica McTaggart with Pink Champagne Events. She was just a little over a $1,000 when I hired her but she is worth every penny. Her package is actually month of coordinator, so she starts to take over a month before your wedding and it really helped my stress levels go down. The biggest thing is that she set up all of our decor/details and we had a TON! She got it all done quickly and exactly how I wanted it. I literally can’t stop raving about her!

@riss128: @MzStacie:
Pink Champagne has a great reputation.
My other favorites are L Elizabeth Events (Laura Pearson) .. she does photography, coordinating and even dance lessons. Plus, she’s super fun. I used her for my wedding. http://lelizabethevents.com/
I also like Katie Stedman at Day Planner Events. I’ve worked with her professionally a couple times & bride (my friend) loved their interactions. http://dayplannerevents.com/
And, caterers (like A Wild Thyme) also do planning. I really like their coordinator. A lot of the “coordinating” is getting vendors on the same page & making the day go smoothly .. so if you can do the coordinating through A Wild Thyme or a photographer like L Elizabeth, it makes it a bit less hectic in my opinion.
