I havn’t been married yet but maybe some flip flops so that at the end of the night you can take off those shoes that by now are killing your feet and wear comfortable flip flops in the car.

@angiemk47:  This is a good question, I have been wondering the same thing! Just like you, we are headed to a hotel near the airport directly from our reception, so we have to have our honeymoon bags packed before the wedding.

For myself, I will probably have my makeup bag with me at the venue (I’m not doing my own makeup, but I was thinking more for touch ups after the ceremony or later on). Then when it’s time to go to the hotel, I’ll just throw it in my pre-packed suitcase.

-Makeup for touchups

-Extra pair of shoes, just in case

-Bandaids

-Bobby pins

-Scissors if your dress is tulle (because I can pretty much guarantee it WILL get stepped on at some point on the dancefloor, and it really is just better to cut off the torn piece – no one will notice when you’re dancing and otherwise the torn piece will drag and get stepped on again, making it even worse)

-Painkillers, Asprin or Tylenol or something.

Those are the important ones. You can include other stuff like tweezers, floss, a mini sewing kit, tape, etc. I didn’t end up using much in my kit, but I’m glad I had it just in case.
