Hello! I am looking for a day of wedding planner who is reasonably priced for my August 2009 wedding. We really only need someone for half a day at most, to help with the ceremony set up, as our reception site provides someone to help with the coordination there. Can anyone provide any recommendations? I feel like there are so many options, I just don’t have the time to wade through them all! Thank you in advance!

i loved sarah lusardi of NY Engagements. we had a fabulous on site coordinator but having her there the whole day was the best decision I ever made! she is amazing!!!

i’m working with CKY Occassions from the beginning to the end and so far, they are great. actually better than great. I literally don’t have to do anything because they are doing it all for me! only thing i really have to do is the deciding part / making the final decision(s). i have no stress and they handle as much as I want them to – and they are great to work with plus REALLY affordable. You should check them out: http://www.ckyoccasions.com

we hired Nerissa from Private Receptions (privatereceptions.com) and she was amazing. she actually does all planning and design, but i know she does lots of day of services too. i know she does a free initial consultation so contact her, she’s amazing and i definitely couldn’t have done it without her!

Haha!! I love this site:) My planner is Nerissa too! Private Receptions is hip, cool, and a fun bunch of ladies to work with. I shopped around (shhhhh) and most of the day of planners were older by the rule book a little to fake for me and Greg! totally check her out. I found that most of the planners fall within a similar price range but where they get you is …if 2 planners are both $2k you might not get the same service…see how many people are attending and what their roles are. We’re having 150 people and it’s 3 people helping us on the day of and she isn’t charging for travel. Good luck!

I used Dianne @ Colorblind Productions. She was fabulous. She’s out of NJ but does NY events and I think her price was reasonable and she was just amazing. There’s reviews of her all over wedding wire and project wedding.

We got married on the 13th and used Allie at Bash – she was great and VERY inexpensive compared to the other planners we’d met with. We only needed about 5 hours onsite, and we paid around $600. Not bad. 🙂
Her email is [email protected]. Good luck and congratulations!!
