Go on a wine tour?  I’m pretty sure there are some wineries around Baltimore!

Wine tasting? Matinee chick flick? Museum outing? (I know that last one sounds maybe kinda lame, but it’d be fun for me, as I almost never get to go).

@toshella:  Oh yeah! Northern Baltimore Co has a bunch that are really nice, or out toward Frederick..

What about a sporting event? We went to a baseball game to start off my bach. party — it was a ton of fun!

I love high tea as a super-girly event–some hotel in your area probably does it, you get to sample different kinds of teas and cookies in a luxe setting, sometimes they even do a tea “tasting” where an expert tells you about the different kinds of teas you are trying.

I don’t know if you have anything like this in your area, but rumor has it my ladies are planning on taking me to a drag-show brunch.  Apparently it’s the BEST drag show ever, and the food is delish.  It’s offbeat, unexpected (well, it would be if my sister didn’t have a big mouth), it’s a little risque without being raunchy, sounds like fun!

This may not work for you, but a daytime idea to share…

We are renting a yacht for a couple of hours during the day to take us out on Lake Michigan. We can drink a lil, sun bathe and just hang out with the other girls in the bridal party.

We did pedicures, lunch, and shopping for my bachelorette. We had the private room at Barretts grill for lunch, then headed downstairs to Spa of the Valley for pedicures, then hit DSW and the other shops for some more girl time before calling it a day. It was fun and I didn’t miss the typical shenanigans for a moment.

I was excited for my girls to take me to a glass blowing lesson where we could all make our own Christmas ornament (my thing) and other options were a cooking class, a knitting class where we all made scarves that were sewn into a blanket for me to finish the class, and of course some ridiculous stripper showing up at anything with Grandma there 🙂

I also love the idea of a Hanky Panky party…my only must have panties, each girl brings a pair (or several) in their favorite color…i’ll be pampered with new panties that I will for sure wear!  You could go crazy with the theme too! a monogramed hankercheif (hanky) as a play on words??
