I have fallen in love with tons of Maggie dresses and then I saw this one…. I’m on the fence about this style of dress. I never really wanted a poofy dress, more of a sexy, fitted dress. I don’t like the color in the picture. *imagine* the dress is all ivory or all white. 🙂
Do you think this dress is sweet & fitting for a intimate daytime wedding or is it matronly?

I think it’s beautiful and perfect for a daytime wedding.

I agree with IA_Snowflake. It’s so pretty for daytime! If you love it go for it.

Oh I think it’s beautiful – not at all matronly! Go for it.

That dress is gorgeous! I think it would work great for Daytime 🙂

It’s pretty, but I agree about the color lol I also don’t really like the sash around the waist. Kind of takes some sexy away from the back because it’s just right there… Needs to be a little lower for the style, imo, or just gone competely lol But it is an amazing dress and perfect for the day time! I think it’s still very figure flattering!

Uh, definitely not matronly! It manages to be both demure and sexy, which is no mean feat. 🙂
I think it’s lovely, but I also vote to lose the sash.

Ooooo! I LOVE the back! I’ve always loved open back dresses – so sexy! (in an appropriate kind of way)
Go for it!

I think the dress is beautiful and would be totally appropriate. Also, FWIW, I don’t know how it could be matronly with that low back!! I think it’s great!

The dress is absolutely sexy and gorgeous and totally would work for daytime.
Check out mrs. gummibear’s dress, it’s similar to her style. It’s so romantic and sexy in the back.
I say rock it!

I just checked out Mrs. Gummi Bear’s wedding details & dress.. wow! I wish I’d come across it sooner… thanks for that cherryblossom! Her day had a great vibe.
I am loving the feedback! My concerns were really the front of the dress & the style of the dress being matronly. The back is definitely va-va-voom IMO. lol

The dress is great. I do think it needs a sash, but I’m wondering if the sash needs to be broader? There is just something off about the one pictured above. I also think the stylists for this photo shoot didn’t do a great job with accessories, make up and hair so I’m wondering if that is contributing to your perception of this being a matronly look…. because it’s definitely not a matronly style!
Please post some pictures with you in it (when you get them)!

This dress is great- sexy without being trashy. It isn’t matronly at all! I think it would look better with different accessories– some fun, young accessories. DO NOT lose the sash! The sash will define and slim your waist.

I agree… the sash looks off, but without it I’d look like a board! Maybe it’s also the color? I would only get this in ivory or white… I don’t like the look of 2 tone dresses

Way sexy! I love the back especially!
