My sister and best friend ordered theirs on Memorial Day weekend and they came in a week later. They are average sized girls (6 & 10) so I’m not sure if that had antyhing to do with it.

We JUST ordered 3 of the 4 dresses. One girl still needs to order hers. The lady said they would be here in the first to mid part of August. You should probably do it soon though and I don’t think you will have any problems

I waited until a month before and some dresses I had time to order but they didn’t have my size. SO, I’m very lucky they had my size and color in a dress that I loved. I just had to buy it off the floor. So, I say go now or at least 2 months before.

I had my girls order their dresses about 4 months out. They came in a week and a half after they ordered them. I had a few ladies order late, which I made room for my having them order early.

I ordered on April 20th and they JUST came in June 30th.

I’d say yes you need to go soon.

My Bridesmaid or Best Man picked different dresses so they ordered them all at different times.  One took 5 days to arrive – the other one 2 weeks.  I have one last Bridesmaid or Best Man that is still waiting and even though DB originally told us to order 3 months out or more, they are now still calling and telling me “I have more time to order if I’d like to.”   I think certain dresses probably do take longer though, like the ones that need extra length (and perhaps it actually needs to be made).

Well, my Maid/Matron of Honor ordered hers and got it 3 weeks later. But some people have had them actually take months. Also, on the extra length, I am almost 6’1, and when I wore one for my sisters wedding I didnt have any issues. But it was a knee length one, it was just a little above my knees. If you want floor lenth then she might need extra.

I think they said 6-8 weeks for most dresses and when I inquired about the Vera Wang Bmaid dresses she said, no joke UP TO 15 WEEKS!

My sister went in to order here’s about 3 months out and they told her her size (12) wouldn’t come in in time. She had to order a larger size and have it altered. I wouldn’t wait if I were you.

I’ve ordered bridesmaid dresses three times from DB. I think that it can depend on the time of year that you order them. I have ordered one at the end of January and two near the end of February. The weddings were in July, May, and October. They took about 10 weeks to arrive. I think with wedding season being in the summer and early fall, a lot of dresses are ordered around the beginning of the year, so it takes a little longer.

Now, I don’t know if DB is supposed to do this, but when I went back to the store six weeks before the wedding, I tried on my bridesmaid’s dress. It was a size too big. They were going to exchange it for free, but it wouldn’t come in until the day that I was supposed to leave for the wedding. Not wanting to put the bride (or myself) through the stress of hoping they were right, I just paid for alterations. But it was nice to know that was an option!
