I like them both! But if I have to choose I’d say I like the first one because of the simplicity and sweetheart neckline.
I tried on the second one. I’m short and curvy—it did NOT look good on me at all!
I ended up getting one kind of similar to your first one with a colored satin/crystal sash.
Have fun!
@MissMarriage: Thanks, that’s good to know as I am short and slightly curvy…but I’ll still try it on π
@MmeSilverBullet: Definitely try it on. Try on all kinds of styles! The first time I went, I had NO CLUE what I liked. When I came back the second time, I had a bunch of favorites picked out of the catalog because I had an idea of what looked good on my body at that point. I knew that I wanted a simple aline with a sash, just hadn’t picked the fabric. I tried that style in taffetta, lace and satin. Ultimately, I went with a light satin. This is the one I got, but I replaced the sash with a chocolate brown crystal-embellished one.
@MissMarriage: That one is third on my list to try one! I’ll def have to try it on as well!
I’m plus size and I tried on almost every dress David’s Bridal had on and although I went back a second time because I second guessed my decision I am still worried I may have bought the wrong one.
The store I went to did not have all the ones they have on their website and I really liked some of the ones online, like the two you have here they did not have and these were 2 I wanted to try on π
#1 is my dress too!
I tried on #2 also, and while I liked the shape of it, that thing on her hip looked like a crab to me and every time I looked at it I just could get over the whole crab image. But I’m weird like that. The consultant thought it looked like a snowflake…
