I heard on the radio that now they are calling for the snow to begin mid-morning. So hopefully those of us who are at work today (boooo!) will be let off early.

I haven’t read through all the posts on this thread, but have you guys seen this? I was reading the weather forecast on washingtonpost.com and this was listed at the bottom:

i love the panic button!  A work friend sent me that last night… love it!

Well, at work this morning and one of our interns is from Australia… i can tell she’s a little overwhelmed with the incoming snow!  Who is still working today?

Raising hand… sigh!  But at least the metro was dead today & I got a seat.

LOVE the Panic Button!!! Here in Richmond its snowing like woh!!!  I was silly and went to the store this morning, (schools are closed here!!) and there was NOTHING on the shelves.  I was like come on people, its just some snow! Then I remembered that I lived in Virginia where people never get snow.  Just enjoying the afternoon now – watching the snow fall!

It just started to snow here! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my SO will come home from work early so he doesn’t have to deal with highway snow.

Anyone have plane tickets to Vegas handy? 😛

I had to work a full day today, and when I left work in DC, the roads and sidewalks were just wet.  By the time I got to Arlington, snow was sticking to the ground.  Shockingly, our cable was out in our building or area, but then Comcast came to fix it even though it’s nasty out!

I wonder how much snow there will be by tomorrow morning
