There’s a Priscilla in Tyson’s Corner (Route 7, in that fancy shopping center w/ the Hermes and Tiffany’s). My roomie got hers at a JCrew in Georgetown–I bet there are some spots there you can look. Also, the VA David’s Bridal is in Springfield.

mine are also eggplant and long, with a sash. i wish i had a picture, but i don’t sorry!

we also went out to jeannete’s in manassas. not that close to the city depending on where you live, but they had a huge selection.

I looked at Hitched in Georgetown.  (http://www.hitchedsalon.com/) It’s an adorable salon and they had a good selection, but their dresses are definitely not inexpensive.  Good luck!  🙂

When my sister got married in 08, we ordered our Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses at the Demetrios salon in the Macy’s at Tysons II (the Galleria). They had a pretty good selection and were inexpensive.

I had long Eggplant dresses. they were Alfred Angelo. Many Bridal Salons carry them. I saw mine at TLC Bridal in Frederick but we ordered from the Alfred Angelo store in Harrisburg since the Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid live in PA.

Just got my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses at Alfred Angelo at the signature store in Springfield, VA last weekend.  I also was having problems finding bridesmaid dresses, but lucked out there quite well.  They just opened last month so all of the samples are still in great condition, which can affect whether you like a dress or not, either consciously or unconsciously…    I got one of the higher end Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses at Alfred Angelo and since my entire bridal party was there and we ordered that day, the manager knocked $20 off the price bringing the normally $200 dress to $180.

I never checked Aria out because appointments book up way in advanced, but they are in DC and I think they are quite affordable.

Good luck!

There’s a little store in Fairfax, Virginia called Roselin’s bridal boutique… they have a good selection of bridesmaids dresses (Watters, Bill Levkoff, Dessy, Eden, Jay Bari are some of the ones I remember seeing there). It’s a tiny little shop but the prices were great and the selection was great too! Here’s a link to their website: http://rosalinsbridal.com/

Good luck!

I went to Aria a few weeks ago and loved their shades of purple.  If you have availability during the week, you can usually get an appt. pretty easily!
