Have you actually tried them on? Online is NOT the same as putting it on your finger to see it in real life. Even if you have the same finger size as someone.

Go try them on, take pics and then come back and do a poll for all the options.

My ring is micro pave so I would choose that automatically!

@maymay05:  Wish I had a de Beers ring! Haha.

Honestly if you tried them on and loved them, I don’t think you have too much to worry about. Like Tiffany’s or Cartier, de Beers is great quality. You’re paying a premium for the brand, yes, but that also guarantees quality, reputation, and a lifetime of service.

Any of their rings are going to be better quality than you’ll find in most jewelry stores.

As long as you’re informed on the 4Cs, and you’re sticking to your budget, you’re pretty safe. So for example, if you don’t need an E color, tell them you’re ok going down to G and you’ll be able to get a bigger rock for the same price, and so on.

I don’t have a De Beers engagement ring, but I do have diamond rings from them. Generally speaking, the diamonds are still quite sparkly when you are out of the store. That said, most diamonds with good specs from a reputable jeweler will sparkle significantly when you are in regular light too.

The customer service I experienced was good although not as good as T&Co. in some sense. I have a friend with a T&Co. wedding set and they get invited to private events each year with little giveaways. There are also less DB so getting cleanings and whatnot is not as easy. DB also ships everything back to NY for repairs/resizing, so you’ll be apart from your jewelry for a while.

Other than that, as PP have said, you really need to go in store to see them in person. I don’t think we can give you recommendations for carat sizes. For example, most people in my area have 1+ carats so to me, that’s “average” but for others here, that’s huge.

So I can’t post pictures in private messages, but they work on threads like this Cool

I don’t take a lot of pictures of my hand, but if there is a specific lighting that you would like to see it in I can make it happen.

The specs on my lovely are as follows:  3.75 ring size, .55 center diamond, .10 worth of the tiny pave diamons.  25 diamonds total.  And this is the first version of the debeers promise ring before they added the surprise diamonds.

Feel free to send any other questions you have my way.  Happy ring shopping.

They are just as gorgeous outside in “real” light as they are in the store, and the service was impeccable.

Good luck picking a ct size – mine is around 3/4 ct. The next biggest one they had was 1.2 ct and almost 10K more.  Would have loved to have had that, but love the one I have and won’t upgrade later.  FI can get the matching earrings for our 10 year I suppose.

I have the Adonis Rose so it’s not any of the styles you mentioned.  I have a 5.75 finger size.
