For me, if the dress was too short with my crinoline, I would have walked away. Without the crinoline my dress just hung there and was not what I wanted.

As for the neckline, a moderate sweetheart my be possible, and if that is the case it would no necessaily be a dealbreaker for me. Then again, my dress had a moderate sweetheart so I might be biased lol

At the end of the day, it is what is most important to YOU on your wedding day. If you are okay with no crinoline and a  straight neckline, then keep the dress. If not, then you may have to walk away. Did the store say they will exchange it?

I am having a length issue as well, it was supposed to come with an extra 2 inches for heels. But it didnt.  But the problem is I ordered from lightinthebox.com, and with reviews I knew that exchange or return wouldnt bo an option, and the dress would be as is.  So I also cant afford to buy a new one.  I am going to just get a very short heel or flats.

But if I was in your position, I would walk away.  length is a deal breaker, even though Im going to just live with mine.

Also, if the dress did not have the style I wanted (silhouette, neckline, waist) I would deffinately walk away. Those things are not easy to change and if I really wanted tehm I would keep searching

Ok, is the dress too short with or without heels?

@Future_Ms.Bostonceltics:  Oh hell no. If your not wearing heals and the shop f’ed up your order it’s on them. I would demand a refund or an exchange. If they are too lazy to measure correctly they need to make it up to you.

@Future_Ms.Bostonceltics:  Did you explain to them that you don’t need your skirt to hang 2 inches (4 inches if in heels) off the ground to not trip over it? We’re going to alter my skirt so that it just barely brushes the ground while I walk, which I feel is the perfect length.

How long was the skirt before the 3 inches were added? Can they prove that they actually added 3 inches? You trusted them to get your measurements correct and to give to accurate advice. Now, they need to make it up to you. This just isn’t right.
