I have two mini-poodles and they really aren’t happy unless they’re getting to snuggle! Last night I was laughing at how “trained” they are because I had one wrapped around each foot last night — perfect toe warmers! But really, they want to snuggle all the time.

I have a golden retriever and she LOVES to snuggle. I basically treat her like a full body pillow with my arms and legs wrapped around her, she just loves it! With her size, she is the perfect cuddle buddy ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh my goodness, my dog loooooves to snuggle. If I could upload a pic now, I would. She is a miniature pinscher/pug mix and scrunches herself up into a little ball. I think the min pin in her is like the terriers PPs have mentioned – she likes to burrow and get under blankets!

My pomapoo (pomeranian/toy poodle mix) is extremely cuddly–he’s also fluffy and little which makes him a great lap dog!  All the pomeranians I know are very cuddly.

Malteses and yorkies are absolutely the best snugglers!

I also have a suggly lab mix. He weighs 80 pounds, but I swear he has reverse Napolean syndrome–he thinks he is a MUCH smaller dog than he really is. He will shove as much of his body as he can into your lap (I’m only 5’2″, so there’s not a lot of lap!). If he is next to you on the couch, he is pressed against you, or sitting behind you with his giant noggin resting on your shoulder (again, I’m short, so Barney and I are the same height sitting down. :))

Let’s just say I spend a lot of time on the couch with limbs falling asleep, because I can’t bear to move my snuggle-muffin. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it varies more by dog than by breed. We have a pit bull/red heeler mix who is a major cuddlebug. He loves to snuggle! It’s my favorite part of having a dog. He likes to get up on the bed in the morning and sleep between us. He loves to spoon!

My pup likes to snuggle… but only kind of. He wants to be near me all the time and he’s ALWAYS thrilled to be petted. He also really likes to lay on me if I’m petting him/paying attention to him… but as soon as I stop petting him he walks away. he doesn’t like to just sleep on me or anything. The only exception is at night. We used to let him sleep on the bed and even though he’d always curl up at the bottom at night, every single morning I’d wake up and he’d have crawled up to be my “little spoon” lol.

My boston terrier is a snuggler! She loves to sleep as close as possible to us in bed (usually in between us) and under the covers. When I am getting ready in the morning, she snoozes with her head on my foot and she will cry to be held. I don’t know if this is common with the breed as a whole or just our dog, but she is the cuddliest dog I have ever owned.
