Oh the nightmare!  What’s your next option?  I just bought cute little cards for mine (wasn’t going to deal with custom cards).

I just ordered a few packs of regular thank you cards that match my theme… Do they have to be so personalized?

So sorry about your card issues…

My thank you cards have been a huge hit (surprisingly)! I made them on Shutterfly with wedding photos- It has 3 photos on the front, 4 on the inside left and 6 on the inside right with a space to write on. I felt so guilty because I didn’t get my wedding photos for almost 2 months, then I had to order them, etc. My Mom’s friends were piling on the guilt too. Ugh!

But in the end it was well worth it. My Mom’s friends can’t stop talking about them and one even wants a copy to send to her relatives in Japan (who I don’t even know).

I would highly, highly recommend getting your cards on Shutterfly!

Oh yeah, don’t feel bad, I still have a few left to write also

How about walmart? I ordered photo thank you cards from walmart. They were $.44. We were gonna wait on the wedding photos, but we decided to use a honeymoon pic. It only took a day for them to do it. It would’ve only taken a day, but I had so many (150).

Sorry you’re having such a difficult time!  I understand what you mean – we ordered Christmas photo cards online, and they were very flimsy.  Could you send just a regular card with a wedding photo inside?  Good luck!

After going through all of that I would just use the crappy Vistaprint cards. People will still appreciate the thought and they’ll eventually get thrown away anyway.

No one really cares what the cards look like, they only care that they receive one!  So why don’t you just send them out, even if you don’t think the weight is perfect?  You are already kind of late, and I would just send them out as-is if I were you!

@bakerella: They are on photo paper. So it is really good quality. Not thin at all.
