I can’t believe you are still having trouble with these! What a nightmare!! In case ilife, shutterfly and walmart don’t work out, we ordered our from stationarystudio.com. They were embossed and turned out really nice, though a bit too dark; we order the rcycled paper ones and they were very green…

Aw, sorry you are having such a rough time with these cards! We did a card that matched our invitation suite and inserted photos since like someone else said, people tend to throw away cards.
Could you do a little DIY and mount the flimsy photo cards on some cardstock so they aren’t a total waste?
Hope you get it worked out soon! I know I felt a huge sense of relief when I finished & mailed the final thank you card last week & I loved it when my mom attended a social event on Sunday & called me to tell me how many people sought her out to tell her how pretty and thoughtful they were… If they only knew how many handfuls of hair I lost while stressing over them—LOL!

You might also want to look at moo cards. Their photo postcards are a little pricey, but they are super nice.

I figured out another alternate!!! I’m waiting to hear back on it though, so I’m not going to let the cat out of the bag JUST yet, but DH is SUPER excited about it!

@bakerella: can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with – was going to suggest tinyprints – they did a great job with all the holiday cards I received (really great paper quality and quick turn around time: 48 hours). Sorry to hear about all the hassle you went through. I just finished writing up the last of our thank you’s last week and went with generic letterpress-ish thank you’s from target. I really wish I did photo thank you cards – especially for the guests who couldn’t make it. Oh well! Good luck getting yours out!

Oh no! All the muss to get thank you notes. Hopefully your husband will write them all to make this all better. 🙂

**UPDATE** I’m using another Etsy vendor and she sent me the CUTEST proofs ever for our cards!!! I’m going to do a touch of tweaking, but what do you guys think? She said we can tweak the layout, colours and graphics. I think I might ask her to make the tailpipe a bit shorter and I might change the font possibly… Anyone else see anything they would change or add?
I caved btw and I’m putting the photo of us on the inside of the card with photocorners. I loved the idea of this too much to get stuck on the rest.
The inside is blank. Here’s the back:

OMG, That is PERFECT! And sooo you. I love it! How soon until you get them? Fingers crossed and sending you positive thoughts that they get there ok.

I have to get DH to look at it when he gets home and then we’ll give her our feedback. No changes that you guys would make? I’m hoping we’ll have them in a couple of weeks 🙂
Now that we’re doing the Winnebago card, I think we’re going to do a different photo. What do you think of this one for inside?
I have literally about 200 photos of us with the Winnebago, so if this isn’t the one, just say so. My other favourite is this one, but the orientation is wrong 🙁

Love the design!! And I vote for first winnebago pic.

great card & I’d choose the first photo.
PS LOVE that shrug, I have it “favorite’d” on etsy, same color!

Awesome design! Ugh, and thankyou cards really are a pain. I have just started writing mine because my grandma was on my case. According to her, thankyou cards have to be sent out after 6 weeks. HA! Yeah, that’s not happening for us. We ended up ordering Vistaprint ones. They arent wonderful, but Im over it at this point.

@blu77: Thanks! MaryAndAngelika was awesome to work with. She put a liner in it for me in case I got cold or sweaty 🙂
My Vistaprint ones sucked donkey balls (man that’s not very hostess like of me, but they really did!!!) so I forced them to give me a refund. I seriously think they’re going in the recycling bin…
