I can’t believe you are still having trouble with these! What a nightmare!! In case ilife, shutterfly and walmart don’t work out, we ordered our from stationarystudio.com. They were embossed and turned out really nice, though a bit too dark; we order the rcycled paper ones and they were very green…

Aw, sorry you are having such a rough time with these cards! We did a card that matched our invitation suite and inserted photos since like someone else said, people tend to throw away cards.

Could you do a little DIY and mount the flimsy photo cards on some cardstock so they aren’t a total waste?

Hope you get it worked out soon! I know I felt a huge sense of relief when I finished & mailed the final thank you card last week & I loved it when my mom attended a social event on Sunday & called me to tell me how many people sought her out to tell her how pretty and thoughtful they were… If they only knew how many handfuls of hair I lost while stressing over them—LOL!

You might also want to look at moo cards. Their photo postcards are a little pricey, but they are super nice.

@bakerella: can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with – was going to suggest tinyprints – they did a great job with all the holiday cards I received (really great paper quality and quick turn around time: 48 hours).  Sorry to hear about all the hassle you went through.  I just finished writing up the last of our thank you’s last week and went with generic letterpress-ish thank you’s from target.  I really wish I did photo thank you cards – especially for the guests who couldn’t make it.  Oh well!  Good luck getting yours out!

Oh no!  All the muss to get thank you notes.  Hopefully your husband will write them all to make this all better. ๐Ÿ™‚

Awesome design! Ugh, and thankyou cards really are a pain. I have just started writing mine because my grandma was on my case. According to her, thankyou cards have to be sent out after 6 weeks. HA! Yeah, that’s not happening for us. We ended up ordering Vistaprint ones. They arent wonderful, but Im over it at this point.
