@NJmeetsBX: Haha. Whenever someone asks me I just tell them the minimum “its good”. I honestly dont want to talk about my wedding, especially since I havent done anything regarding it in 2 months!

OMG, yes, same here! I will just be copying and pasting that same email to my wedding. It doesn’t even deserve originality on my party.

Oh I remember that feeling – at least when it’s all over, you can look back at the relationship and go… ‘ok, so you were KIND of worth the drama!’ 😉

This girl came into my work the other day, and she had JUST gotten married (like a week ago) and I told her I was, and she said, I’m sorry, I’ll pray for you. I was like, FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS ME!

Fiance thinks its dresses and shoes and cupcakes and flowers. NO, I NEED YOU TO DO YOUR HALF NOW.

EDIT: And my dad lives in NC. And his older daughter isn’t getting married, and so I know this is his only chance but damnit. I don’t want to talk about it all the flipping time!!

@NJmeetsBX: I thought my Fiance was the only one!!!!!!!! I started sending him to-do lists through email with due dates lol. He has been doing fairly well since then.

I feel the same way! We’ve got two more weeks. I loved planning initially, but now I’m sick of it consuming every second and every dollar I have available. I think it will be worth it, but I’m ready to be done stressing over it.

i TOTALLLLLY feel you.. we are on a budget since hes recovering… and ive been doing the mega searches for sales ,coupons and deals..besides a TON of DIYs

running to any bridal show in driving distance to chit chat with vendors and get the best prices..

I feel like i need a VACAY from the wedding! Ive been on a xmas break from it but the things lurk in my mind when im trying to sleep on what else needs to be done

I do all the back & leg work then go to him for his approval or dissapproval – UGH!

he works long hours and has helped but like @NJmeetsBX…nothing compared to what ive done!

@NJmeetsBX:  SO TRUE.  It took Fiance EIGHT MONTHS to ask his cousin if her son could be our ring bearer.  EIGHT MONTHS!!!

LOL!!! People always regret asking me how the planning is going. I go off on a not as witty rant similar to yours. My current outburst of choice: I WANT MY DINNING ROOM BACK!!! (the table is filled with DIY projects, the floor is covered with boxes of favors, finished diy projects, bridal party gifts, wedding decor, you name it it’s on my floor!)

I was so excited to be married, but honestly, I hated planning my wedding.

Deciding on menus, decor, and details was NOT fun to me.

The only thing I enjoyed choosing was my dress and the BMs’ dresses- lol!
