Here is a picture of a 1ct 6.5. Do you think it’s a tad too big? Would a 6mm round look more elegant and proportioned? Or will I regreit to going with the 1 ct? (I have no pics with a 6mm round brillant only the 6.5) getting ready to order and can’t make up my mind.
My finger is 6.5

@Pang27: I picked 6mm, but I’m biased. I was actually given the same choice and went with the smaller stone because I have fairly small hands. Here’s mine (on a 4.5 finger)

Stone shrinkage syndrome does happen!!!! I think my 1 ct is puny on my hand but when I first got it it was huge compared to my old .55ct.
The size difference between the two isnt as big as you think. Good luck and remember to post pics! 🙂

1 ct is a very classic size.

@Pang27: Definitely get the 1ct! It’s perfect 🙂

The size difference is basically nothing. Go with the bigger one!

Doesn’t look too big to me

I decided to go with the 1ct 🙂 I’m worried about shrinkage so I figured it will probably look big to me at first and then ill adjust lol i can’t wait to see the enhanced stone.

@housebee: I LOVE your band! Where did you get it?

@Pang27: Thanks ladies 🙂 I was actually going to just wear my Engagement Ring, but then my husband surprised me with the band just the other day. I’ll have to ask him where exactly he got it from.
