Not really a great idea 2 weeks before, but some people look great with bangs. I would actually suggest you try on a wig with bangs to see how you like the look.

How funny!  I JUST got bangs to see if I liked them (my wedding is still three months out), so if I didn’t like them or thought they looked weird my hair would grow back out to normal by then (my hair growns insanely fast).

@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  what have you decided – do you like with or without – you look younger in the second picture but beautiful in both!

@Blackie:  I’m having a hard time deciding.  I do love the bangs though.  They’re fun and a lot different than my usual hair.  But this is how I want my wedding hair, so I’ll prolly have to go back to normal since the bangs swoop like my old style.

I have long bangs that I swoop to the side!

I have a HUGE forehead and a terrible “cow-lick” where my bangs are.  I have mostly “trained” my bangs to behave, but if I sweat or let my hair air dry – the “cow-lick” takes over!!

I had some blunt bangs cut in August.  I thought they looked really cute and that I was super trendy.. Until I saw a photograph in which I looked like Wayne from Wayne’s  World.  It looked like I was wearing a black mullet wig!!  They have finally grown out now.

@JennaWade:  Lol! I had a similar situation last time I had full bangs! When I took a selfie just after I had them done, they looked awesome. But anytime I wasn’t super careful about making sure they were “in place”, they looked TERRIBLE!! Never again.

My best friend bought some clip on bangs (like a wig) and she wears them sometimes for fun. They look super cute on her. If you can find some it might be an easy way to try first without committing to them. Or maybe try the side swept bang thing so that you are not having too big of a change.

I like the idea of doing longer bangs that you can sweep off to the side, or clip-on bangs to test em out.  But if you’re at all nervous about it and want to wait, just think about beautiful women with big foreheads like Rihanna and Tyra Banks–they look awesome with or without bangs, just play up the eyes and lips!
