I would try it without the bra to see.  I don’t even have much to work with if you know what I mean but for some reason I looked better without a bra in mine.  Maybe its because the bra takes up too much room in the dress? Not sure but I think it is def. worth trying out!

I’d check it out w/ the DB bra, no bra, and maybe one of your own bras. I plan to chop up my favorite bra to have the cups sewn into my dress. Small sacrafice for a comfortable day and fabulous looking ‘girls’ in my photos, haha.

I tried mine with and without.

With I looked like my boobs were squashed and all kind of shoved up too. Without it was perfect. But since I am a large chested gal I am getting cups and boning added just for some extra ‘hold’

You shouldn’t feel pressured to lose weight (and you might not lose the weight from your boobs, anyway).

@strawberryavalanche: Your mother sounds like my mother. She thinks I’m 25 lbs overweight. She has mellowed some recently. Good luck to you.

@strawberryavalanche: honestly, I have lost some pounds recently and my boobs are still the same size (sad face). You may or may not lose weight in your chest. Sorry your mom is giving you a hard time about losing weight.

@Mrs.ChubbyBunny: True, I’ve lost some weight too, not much boob change.

Why can’t you have the dress altered without your mom knowing? With my mom, it’s that my hips are too big.

When I went to try on dresses, my consultant told me that a lot of dresses today have the bras built in. I tried on my dress with one, and it did look very odd. That’s just one thing to think about :-).
