Are you ready? What’s left? I feel like I’m missing something!!
Are you ready? What’s left? I feel like I’m missing something!!
Can’t believe it’s so close! Yesterday FH said to me “Happy teen day!” Guess he’s just as excited as I am! The biggest task for me that’s left is moving all my stuff in to our new house where FH is already living. We still have to get our marriage license but are planning on doing that tomorrow!! We still have to finalize things with our coordinator and our officiant (who is my Future Father-In-Law, so of course we’ve waited til the last minute on that!). And I need to once and for all decide what to gift my bridesmaids and then just get it already! And I need to make my necklace! That’s all the big things that are left. But I feel like if I didn’t do ANYTHING ELSE (aside from marriage license of course!)…sure I’d have no necklace and Future Father-In-Law would have to wing it, but at the end of the day I’ll have married my best friend wearing a gorgeous white dress surrounded by my closest friends and family. I’m not feeling too retreaded at all!
We still need to get the license and I probably should email out an actual condensed timeline for the bridal party and family… they have all the information, just not in one email. Right now the biggest stressor is writing the thank-you cards. I’m sure we’re forgetting something, but since it’s this far and it’s not on the lists, I’m not sure I should be worrying at this point.
Really we’re just ready for vacation on December 2 at this point.
It’s too late to edit now, but I definitely meant “stressed” and not “retreaded” in my first post… Stupid autocorrect!
Hi!! 😀 Everything is ready for the most part. My dress and the men’s pants will be ready for final pick up on Thursday, weee! I need to assure the florist and baker know exactly all the details. Everything else has been gone over and checked twice. I think we’re good to go!
Almost 16 more days. . .
we are just doing all the last minute small stuff. Meeting with the DJ to finalize music and stuff. i’m so jealous all of you guys get to go on your honeymoons following the wedding. my Fiance and I are going back to work the following Monday, he is a head wrestling coach and cannot miss any time since wrestling season will be in full swing then. We are going on our honeymoon in June. it’ll be nice but i’d like it even better if we could go after the wedding!!
Where did all the time go?
I feel like there is a ton to do but in reality most everything is finished.
My goal was to be finished 11/1 HA!
AHHHHH!!!!!!! So much to do!! I feel so overwhelmed.
We are doing seating chart/arrangements tonight.
Still have to finalize music for the reception.
Still have to lock in a final schedule.
Have to print the bulletins for the church, welcome letters for the hotel gift bags, and seating chart poster.
And have I mentioned that one of FI’s groomsmen set his wedding date for next Saturday 11/24 (months after we set our date)? So we lose an entire 4 days between that and Thanksgiving!!!
Met with the caterer tonight to finalize everything, sheassays ok so where is the guest book going…SHIT I knew I forgot something!!! Hair trial tomorrow night, djs on Friday.
My seamstress didn’t make my dress short enough! It still drags on the ground! I ordered taller shoes online and they are too big and cost an arm and a leg to return. And I just discovered that the lace/beads on the sweet heart necklace makes my skin red and irritated!
I have to make the seating chart.
Get the marriage license
Make a cd for the dj with our first dance and father daughter dance songs on it
Meet with the priest one more time to finalize readings and music
Finalize plans with caterer
Finalize plans with reception hall
I am sure there are a million more things I am forgetting.
Ahhhh!
