I’ve got to finalize the music with the DJ and put together an hour playlist of our favorite music for cocktail hour, run through the seating chart vs. catering count for the 50th time to make sure I’m not missing anyone, and send the counts to the venue for the rehearsal dinner. The week of, I’m finishing centerpieces and making the bouquets…but I think everything else is pretty much ready to go. Two weeks…holy crap!

Agh… DJ wants a last-minute face-to-face meeting to finalize (again) the details even though they know (and keep being reminded) that Fiance and I live out of town.
Can’t we just solve all of this via phone and email?

All that is left now is paying our lovely florist and baker, and making sure last-minute details are in place, packing everything and THAT’S IT! It’s done, ladies. . . it’s done. We’re just about there oh my loooord! 😀
I have a shortened work week, since I’m getting married at a ranch in Vegas. . .woohoo! Road trip! 😀

9 days my friends, 9 more days. Almost there! Let’s do this already! I’m off next week, just have to make it through tomorrow, I’m sure the workday will feel like 16 hours.

Aaaaand… I’m starting to freak out now.
It just seems like last minute things are piling up and with work there’s very limited time to do everything.
Is it over yet?

My in laws are staying at our house while we’re on our honeymoon, his mom is a super clean person, and usually so am I but with all this planning and wedding business I’ve neglected things like cupboards and trim that are all covered in dust and dirt. I WAS going to pay someone to come clean it but then I thought well I’m off and today isn’t that busy so I’ll do it myself. What an idiot.

Who has some advice???
I want to ENJOY this week, not be stressed out! How do we make that happen? I keep waiting to get to the point where I just decide whatever happens, happens and it will be fine. But right now, I’m still struggling trying to juggle a million things at once.
I want to be one of those laid back brides.

I’m kind of freaking out because I just heard from the engravers that they broke my parents porcelain handled cake knife (my parents wanted to engrave FI’s and my names/dates on the other side of the blade) so yeah… freaking out, though we can get it repaired, but it won’t be in time for Saturday.
At least if this is the only “crisis” then I’m in pretty good shape.
