Fiance and I are planning to cut out happy hours from now until the wedding in 16 days (!!!!!!) that should help with any last minute stubborn poundage, lol. 😉
We discussed music this weekend and Fiance finally got his wedding clothes, yay!
I need to get the ball rolling on his gift. Hoping to get it this week.

That’s great! Mine was good, for the most part! I wish I would have picked a quieter restaurant because we had a hard time talking. I lost one of my presents so that was a little disappointing, too! Overall though, I had fun!
A NYE wedding was always one of my dreams–how fun!
lol going on my three week diet today! I’m just not sure when I should try on my dress to make sure I don’t need any alterations?

I don’t want to list off everything that’s left to do because it’ll only stress me out, haha! But I’m so excited 😀 Just had two rounds of dress alterations done and I’m getting so much more pumped for the day now that I’ve tried on my dress. Everything is becoming so much more REAL!
Good luck with the rest of the planning, girls!

To say I’m stressed is an understatement. Ugh I have so much left to do

Five weeks out, anyone else the 27th?!
I’m so excited!! Loads left to do – our DJ quit on us and his replacement isn’t great so we have to sort that out, ceremony booklets, favours and a guest book! I love that champagne bottle idea, we might steal it…!
Still have to finalise the seating plan (we are having eight tables and a top table so we are naming them after Santa’s reindeer!) and finalise the RSVPs. We aren’t having a rehearsal so nothing to worry about there but we have to do all the stuff for the venue (not much, just the photobooth and the ceremony decoration), which will all be done the day before. I have two burlesque dancers lined up so have to finalise them too.
Our RSVP deadline isn’t till 1 Decemebr so we’re OK on that, and toher than that I think it’s just paying people. My Fiance got his wedding ring and he *won’t* take it off, it’s really funny. He’s super excited.
You all sound like it’s under control, I think December is such a perfect time for a wedding! Good luck with the last minute stuff, I’m sure we will all have gorgeous days!

oh you are welcome!!
We had our rehearsal today and it was great. And the bachelorette party was epic. Yay for hot gay strippers! 😉
Left to do
finalize and print programs and menus.
Can’t wait to see pics!!!

Good luck everyone hope you all have fabulous days!
im getting married on the 16th and all I have left to do is final dress alterations and get married. I’ve just finished off my to do list. I’m so exhausted I’m hoping for some downtime before the wedding so I’m not totally wrecked on the day. I’m looking forward to my day of course but now I’m getting really excited about our married life.

I feel overwhelmed with the little stuff. We are a NYE wedding so I have a little less than a month. I need to do my signage and meet one last time with the reception coordinator and florist. I’m still confused about what to do with hair and makeup. Thats my biggest dilemna. I didn’t really care for my trial. Are you all doing your own makeup or having someone else do it? How did you communicate what you were looking for? I brought pictures and it still didn’t come out right!
Congrats to all in the coming weeks who will have beautiful December weddings! I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to see pics!!

I still have not figured out hair either, and I need a makeup artist stat or else I’ll be doing my own – which would be fine except I never wear makeup lol!

At my last makeup trial, I looked like a ballerina from that movie Black Swan. I kid you not!!

I’m so jealous that you have finished your list!
I thought our list would get done by Thanksgiving, but now it feels like we’ll be working till the last minute, which I did not want to happen!
We’re getting married a week from Friday and I’m totally freaked out! We have friends coming from out of the country on Sunday and I’m nervous about welcoming them, making sure they have a good time, and getting everything done. I feel like my biggest fear is just relaxing enough to enjoy myself and not worrying that everyone else has the best time ever! It’s hard when you spend so much time and money and there’s all this pressure for everything to be perfect.
Major things left: signage (for someone who is the opposite of a DIY bride, this project is no fun!, gifts, programs, finalizing playlists, seating chart, escort cards and place cards, props for photobooth, and some other details.
It feels like we’re way behind, but maybe this is normal?
