Frohike: Even though it’s early on for all of us, the emotional investment is often sky high already before the BFP – and I’m so sorry you’ll have to go through this. Thinking of you and your husband and hoping for the best!

b00kbug:  Yea I am very lucky with my doula situation! And I don’t expect my appointment on Monday with the midwife group to be anything more than a meet and greet but I guess I will see. I am so excited to get to the 8 week appointment but am trying to enjoy each and every moment because I know it will all fly by.

Congrats to all your mamas! Are any of you ladies experiencing any symptoms yet. I’m only 4 weeks, 3 days, but I don’t have any symptoms really. I’m going to try to enjoy this last week or so because I feel like a freight train of MS will be upon me soon. But even then, no breast tenderness or anything.

This little nug is sucking my brain power though. I left my water and notebook in the bathroom at work and looked for it for 15 minutes until a coworker mentioned that she saw one in there. I also left two burners on last night and set the two dinner plates on top of them. Well, at least our food was warm!

And just for fun.. here’s my BFP’s. Top is 12 DPO and bottom is 16 DPO.

sara79:  I haven’t done any research into going the midwife route. Since I’m higher risk due to having RA I hadn’t considered not using an OB. I’ve got a couple extra doctors involved in my team as I have a pregnancy rheumatologist and it’s recommended that I stick with the same hospital where my specialist is located.

Midwives are limited to specific hospitals and I haven’t found one that is linked with the hospital.

I think it’s great ot have the different paths available and I think everyone should do the research, I don’t feel that it would be the best decision for me though.

Hi Ladies,

I’ve been lurking on the boards for quite a while, having moved over to the nesting boards after our wedding nearly 2 years ago. My husband and I have been NTNP for about 4-5 months and today I got a BFP! I Tested because I was a few days late, but I’ve also been having some symptoms. My nipples have been incredibly sore and sensitive, i feel hot all the time, like I’m emitting heat and last night while at the movies I had an overwhelming wave of nausea come over me all of a sudden. I’m completely shocked. I think I was expecting us to have problems conceiving, although I don’t know why.

Online calculators and the date of my LMP put my due date around 12/8, so Even though i haven’t seen my doc yet, here I am! Congratulations to you all!

abby382:  I also am feeling very confused! I keep saying things that don’t make sense and forgetting stuff. Last night I had a sobbing fit for no reason.. other than that my boobies are sore and I get cramping on and off.. very bloated in the morning and I wake up only cause I have to pee so bad. Weird! I’m hoping I can escape MS!

Had an ultrasound today and everything looks great. We saw our little pea and yoke sac. We *think* we saw a heartbeat but my doc said he didn’t want to call it for sure since I’m only 6w0d. I go back next Thursday for follow up ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s my little spot! Not the best pic but I’m excited to share ๐Ÿ™‚
