Oh dear I have been itching to go there.  Have you looked into bora bora or the maldives?

alicebee123 :  what about the Caribbean, Thailand or Africa? I have seen these places recommended for December. Or Mexico perhaps? Also I’m curious as to why Morocco wasn’t for you as I was hoping to go some day and looking for some insight? Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

Following this thread, because we also plan our honeymoon over Christmas and would like to go somewhere warm. Located in Ireland. ๐Ÿ™‚

We’ve been thinking about Morocco, too.

If there’s not too much going on at the moment, I can recommend Israel. I’ve been there in December and the weather was just beautiful and there is so many places you can see! I also never felt unsafe, mostly it’s down to using some common sense.

We went to Hawaii in mid-January for our honeymoon and it was amazing. You could easily spend 2 weeks island-hopping, the weather was perfect, and the humpbackwhales were coming through.

alicebee123 :  that sounds scary and such a pity because I would really love to go some time. Maybe not any time soon! Thanks for sharing. I hope you find the perfect honeymoon spot ๐Ÿ˜Š

alicebee123 :  Cook Islands are perfect as it’s not their rainy season but as it’s Australia/New Zealand’s summer, it’s a quiet season (great for a relaxing, non-crowded holiday).  Hrere’s a link that include two weeks during Xmas & New Years… as you are in the UK these North American prices may not make any difference, but just to show you that holiday periods are pretty inexpensive: http://www.downunder-travel.com/christmas

MelissaandKyle :  it is the rainy or cyclone season in December in Cook islands. It is from late November to April. However the days are usually lovely & there are just thunderstorms in the afternoon. I wouldnt want to be in one of their tropical cyclones though.
