My parents have gone to Turks and Caicos several times and they absolutely love going – they always go in Decemberish, so that must be a good time to go!
I have a friend who takes his students down to Belize every February for an adventure vacation and he absolutely loves it down there – fresh fruit, warm weather, hiking, camping, it sounds like a really fun vacation.
Sorry I don’t have more specific information, but all of your options sound like they would be good ones!

@hermitcrab: Thanks for the info! I think we are leaning more towards Turks and Caicos! I know December just passed but I can’t wait for it to be here again lol

Hi! I am doing the same late honeymoon (Dec 24 – Jan 2) and currently knee deep in research. What I *do* remember though is that when we went to Costa Rica and Panama (not too far from Belize) for our Dec 22 – Jan 5th vacation two years ago, the Caribe side was still totally in wet season until about mid-Jan, despite what travel blogs stated. We had a great time, but seriously our clothes were never fully dry until we crossed over to the pacific side. And then it was blazing hot! haha
Let me know what you end up with – I’m totally curious too!

Have you thought about Costa Rica? It’s awesome and December is the peak time…plus the flight is much cheaper than the flight to Belize (weird, huh? But true!)
