@aalliep:  There’s no shame in that. I confess I POAS at 7 DPO…I jumped the gun a little. But don’t count yourself out, it’s still so early! I like looking at the statistics over at countdown to pregnancy, I think it’s like 70% or so of women who are pregnant tested negative at 8 DPO.

@aalliep:  you’re not out mama! Even when I was PG I didn’t get a + until 2 days after AF!

@MrsDibs – Thanks.  I am just having a hard time.  I am comparing this TWW to the TWW in October when I did get a BFP…comparing every symptom from then to now.

@aalliep:  That’s completely understandable! I think you know though that every pregnancy is different and just because it isn’t the same as your BFP in October doesn’t mean there won’t be a BFP this time. FX for you!

I think my thermometer isn’t working, there’s no way my temps can be this low. I’m going to get a better one tonight and maybe some OPK’s too.

Starting to wonder from everyone else’s posts – am I not supposed to BD with DH every day?  We do it every day maybe we need to stop that? πŸ™

Hey bees!  I hope everyone had a good weekend.  I’m stalking, but I’m having a hard time keeping up so forgive me if I don’t respond to everyone.

@ChuckNorris:  Hooray for surprize O and gettin’ it on with hubs!  I hope that is your lucky egg πŸ™‚

@linz09:  Congratulations, have a great pregnancy!

@aalliep:  I’m sorry about the BFN but it’s soooo early!  I would wait a few days before you POAS again.  Baby dust to you πŸ™‚

@hardtoconcentrate:  I know exactly how you feel, lady.  I feel the same way.  I looked at the SMEP this weekend and I was thinking…that’s a great plan, IF we could BD 3 days in a row and then have any energy left to BD 2 days later.  It’s really hard because it seems that everyone just says “have tons of sex, everyday, no problem!”  The thing is, people can get PG from every other day – I’ve seen charts!  The more I think about it, the more I wonder if my DH has a low sperm count due to his age (38) and frequent bike riding.  I’m going to stick to EOD for the time being because it helps to take the pressure off.  I hope you feel better about your chances – it only takes one!

TCOYF changed my O date to CD 13 today because my temp rise was a little later than expected.  That means I’m only 4 DPO – boo!  I’m really trying to reverse symptom spot this cycle.  I’m also trying to convince myself that I am NOT PREGNANT until I am proven otherwise.  I’m drinking til it’s pink and I’m not going to obsess about every sip of coffee that goes in my body.  I just need to settle in and try to make TTC part of my routine because I have a feeling this will take a while.

@aalliep:  8DPO is early. But, I can agree with feeling out this cycle. : (   FX that’s not the case! Good Luck to you!!

@Lyndzo:  It’s perfectly fine as long as your DH has no issues. We usually abstain for a few days prior to my fertile time and then try to go every day. But, we had an SA done on DH and it came back fine.

Sorry, I just skimmed through the first page here…so hard to keep up. I’ll try to go back through later and read the past few pages I missed.

FX for all! : )

@Macintosh:  i know how u feel, i’m gonna try real hard this cycle not to think everything is a sign of PG until i see it on the stick! easier said then done though. ya know, just last night we went to a friends house and they offered me beer or wine, i thought well i dont even know that im pg so why not enjoy a drink?

edit: i love me some coffee in the mornings, its been a bit conflicting for me if i should just give it up cold turkey but i figure 1 cup a day should be ok right?

@Macintosh:  I was reading the SMEP plan this weekend, too, and that’s what made me start feeling like this!  I was thinking it sounded good but we can’t do 3 days in a row.  I hope the sperm count isn’t an issue for you guys.  I’ve worried about this for us, too, just because DH seems to have a low drive, so  then I worry he has low testosterone, even though no other signs point to that, but it makes me worry about the sperm thing.

@MrsHovzilla:  I took your advice and you were so right.  We were just talking and I told him that I looked back at my calendar and we’ve only done it once in the window each month so we probably haven’t had the best chances.  I said that that was fine for us to continue like that since it works for us, but I just wanted to let him know that I think that didn’t help us.  His first question was, “When is the dec window?”  I told him and he’s like, “Ok. I’m on it.”  It was very cute and made me laugh.  I feel like this might actually be better for us – I don’t feel like I’m pressuring him since it’s 10 days away, but he’s aware of the window and will do his best to do it as much a possible in that window.  Plus he can initiate more in the window without me having to force it since I’m the only one who knows it’s that time.  I actually feel so much better.  So, thanks for the advice!

Funny story about DH.

Yesterday morning he asks me when AF leaves town (I’m on CD4).  I ask him why.  He tells me because “he wants to get me good and pregnant right away.”  I laugh, going on to tell him I won’t ovulate for another week, week and a half, maybe longer.  DH:  blank stare.  I have to explan to my 27-year-old husband about the birds and the bees, lol.  So after it’s all said and done, he looks at me and asks “so, if it’s that hard to get pregnant…why have you been on the pill all these years…?”  Oh, silly DH!!  lol
