@littlebee3:  it’s only been tumultuous because I made it that way by testing too early. But I’m starting to really think I’m not pregnant. I’ve started getting a bit of lower back pain with the cramps which is usually a sign of AF.

@kate02121:  oh, I forgot to reply to you :). So, I just tested again after a 6 hour hold, from a distance I’m CONVINCED I see something. But upon closer inspection I see NOTHING, not even a hint of a line. So I’m throwing it out for public debate (not that there is much debate here, but my brain seems to need convincing) does anyone see a line of any description? Lol

Hey bee’s question…. How many of you are still working out and how vigorously?  I was doing High intensity interval training all year long before the wedding.  After the wedding I have gotten a little lazy and while on vacation I stoped.  Then we started TTC and I just felt like I was going to screw up my chances by doing these type of exercises.  Well two cycles gone by and no bfp and i put on 5lbs.  So everyone keeps saying to relax and it will happen when you least expect it and to live life normally.  So 2 nights ago I started the insanity work out.  I havent been pushing 100% but do you think I should do something like walking instead? Would you do the insanity workout while TTC?

@missstarling:  Hm, that’s tough. I work out a lot – both cardio and weights. But I have been taking it a little easier during TWW, not for the rest of the cycle though. I tried to find research that working out helped/hurt chances for healthy conception and viable pregnancy, but wasn’t able to find much. I guess I would just say that you know your body best, so listen to it. For me, I probably wouldn’t jump right back in to Insanity, but wouldn’t stop it if I had been doing it for a while or it wouldn’t be a shock to my body.

@missstarling:  yes, i think you can still do it.  i know lots of pregnant women who stayed active through their pregnancies.

1 woman i do triathlons with did an 100 mile bike ride when she was 2 months pregnant.  she was 40 at the time and had had a MC a few months before, that baby is now a 4 year old boy and can’t wait to be old enough to do the kids triathlons (you have to be 5)

a woman i work with is a marathon runner and spin instructor.  she continued to run until she was 6 or 7 months pregnant when it just got too uncomfortable and taught spin until almost her due date.

i also am in a triathlon club where women do back off from intense training but still stay very active.

@AlmostMrsShield:  I want to see something but I don’t 🙁 It’s still soooo early though! Don’t fret, you aren’t out until AF shows!

AFM, I had a super vivid pregnancy dream last night. Resisted the urge to POAS this morning, but I don’t think I’ll be able to hold out much longer! Otherwise I’ve had absolutely no symptoms, other than very fleeting breast pain a few days ago. I keep telling myself we timed BD SO well, but I’m not sure what to think about this cycle.

ok story time: i went off BC at the beginning of november. soo initially I put dec 28 as my POAS date because i had a feeling AF would come at the end of last week and then I would have a 28 cycle (like i did before going on BC)…. wellllllll… AF didnt come last friday or saturday, and all of this week. I was convinced that my body was just regulating to not being on BC anymore and was getting sad (see other posts) because I just wanted AF to come so we could start TTC for real! i thought I would have to move down to january POAS…

To make a not-so-long story shorter: i’ve been feeling crampy/nauseus the last 2 days and no sign of AF. i decided to POAS this morning (with support of DH, who said “although you know there’s like a 96% chance you’re not pregnant”) because I just wanted to know what was happening with my body, how could i have cramps without AF/for several days straight meaning clearly it’s not ovulation? WELL I GOT A BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it’s definitely there, very dark, it appeared right away without waiting the 3 minutes!!! sooo i was a december POAS after all! i hope the test is reliable because we are just overjoyed and in half shock!!

@mrssinger321:  That’s AWESOME! O my gosh, what a great surprise!! Congrats mama! Picture please :). You should get one of the ClearBlue Weeks Estimator tests which will give you some idea of how far along you are.

@kate02121: thanks, I’m trying! I admit, I will be pretty bummed if this isn’t our cycle. I’ve had this vision in my mind of having a little secret to hide on New Years. A BFP would just be the cherry on what’s been an amazing year for us, ya know? Although, I’m sure pretty much all of us feel that way!

@kate02121:  thank you so much!! good idea – i was just thinking that i have no idea what to tell my dr because i actually have no idea when this little one was conceived!

i’m at work now and left the test at home (haha… hid it in a cabinet because we are hosting a bunch of friends on sunday… hope none of them snoop!!!) — i think i’ll do the clearblue when i get a chance and then post that photo. is there any chance that this is a false positive and my hormones are  just out of wack from going off BC??

@terpalum10: thank you!!
