@blondie_bride:  Haha yes! It’s another delightful tool to obsess over during the TWW. There are a ton of fun calculators that you can waste hours and hours on, too :).

@mrssinger321:  Haha *guest looks for replacement toilet paper and finds positive pregnancy test instead*. I haven’t heard of that happening where it would be a false positive because of going off of BC. I usually only hear of false positives with blue dye tests, and they aren’t usually related to anything hormonal from what I understand. I just don’t think false positives happen that much. Has anyone else? What brand of test was it?

@missstarling:  I work out pretty hard (lots of HIIT, tabata, cycle, weights) and don’t plan on stopping until I get a BFP and talk to my doc.  Blood flow is good and weights inprove vascularity!  I’m not sure I would start something new, thought.  That being said, if I go several cycles with no success, I’ll have to start changing and rethinking some things.

@BellaDee:  Sorry for AF, I’ll know next Fri if I’m joining you in January.  Are you going to get NTNP?

AFM, this is the first cycle I’ve charted correctly and had a luteal phase.  Are these dips normal?  6DPO

Thanks guys, I’m actually really focused on getting myself as physically fit as possible pre-pregnancy anyway, so I’m OK with this cycle being a dud!  One of my anxieties is that I wont be fit enough to carry healthy, and that I’ll be so out of shape and a big lazy blob for 9 months.  So atleast being proactive prior to a positive result gives me some piece of mind.

I plan to still NTNP no charting or anything, but I know generally when I’m going to ovulate due to my cyst and I get ovulation bleeding. We actually just missed my window.  I most likely ovulated on the 22nd (CD 18) (which would mean I DO have a 14 day LP yay!) but unfortauntely we used the POM on cd 14, the only time that frame that we did have sex besides O day which was too late.

I told hubs and he responded while at work with “it’s ok babe, next ovulation period” he’s so funny, I said nooo we just do it whenever, it’ll happen.

Maybe i’ll get my Fall baby afterall!

@MrsBaldEagle:  haha I look at that every time and I’m thinking “what does that even mean?!” Gosh the amount of times I “felt” pregnant when I didn’t want to be and was on the pill!

@BellaDee:  BOO! But great attitude. And if you can get fit/in shape over the holidays that’s about 10x better than any other time during the year :). I’ll know next week if I’m joining you in January.

@Mars62312:  Hm…I don’t know that it’s normal, but it’s definitely not abnormal yet. You’ll know more as you chart for the next few days. It could spike right back up or be about a million differnent other things.

@BellaDee:  RE: luteal phase – how long is it supposed to be? I O’ed on CD15 and typically have a 27-28 day cycle. Is 12-13 days too short?

@missstarling:  I did a bit of searching around a few months ago when I started P90X, and the general conscencus was that if it’s exercise you were doing before pregnant or TTC, it is still safe to do it during those times, but if you are just starting out, it could hinder your TTC. I found on a few fitness forums that many women actually conceived while just starting P90X, and they continued to do it through their pregnancies. I know insanity is more cardio based and high impact, so I don’t know if it’s the same, but I would feel safe starting something like that before you’ve conceived personally.
