@CoffeeBeanKate:  Yeah haha… I’m usually always in the moood, I have a high sex drive.  My husband does too but works a lot of OT from home and I try not to bother him haha.

Thank you, ladies for the kind words –

AF came this morning so I am a roll over to January. Feeling discouraged but excited to order preseed and more ovulation tests. Maybe Janaury will be the one =)

I did tell my husband last night to please refrain from the pickles & ice cream comments (especially in front of other people) until I’m actually pregnant.

@BellaDee:  talking about how you’d like to announce a bfp on Valentine’s Day….Is it crazy that I want my bfp next month so the LO can have a September birthday, and therefore a Saphire birthstone?  I really want a birthstone band in lieu of an anniversary band and LOVE saphires!  So silly to plan that far out but I can’t help it!

Ok bees, I need some advice from the fertility experts out there (apologies in advance if this is a little Too Much Information – stop reading at this point if you need to, lol!)

I have just been to the bathroom and there was a lump (like, slightly bigger than an earplug) of what I assume is CM – but much firmer than I’ve ever seen it, and relatively clear… Any ideas what this could mean?

Unhelpfully, I don’t chart… I use a phone app to keep track of my cycles, which is predicting O-day as Saturday. But I had a play around with a few others online, inputting the same data, and there was quite a bit of variation! i.e., I’m now wondering if I’ve missed O-day for this cycle… I don’t know if the CM lump is an indication either way.

We started off very much with a ‘see what happens’ attitude, but we haven’t even got to the end of our first cycle and I’m already obsessing (on the sly, obviously – I don’t think it would benefit Fiance to know!) – The Bee is a bad influence! 😉

@minniemluv:  FX for January! As wonderful as our men are, they definitely just don’t get it sometimes…

@whybee:  I use the creighton model to chart, so it’s all CM based.  What we’re taught with that is (basically) to consider the mucous fertile if it has any one of these three qualities: 1) clear, meaning part or all is totally crystal clear, 2) stretches at least an inch on the first stretch or two between the fingers, or 3) it’s lubricative, ie. feels like egg whites on your nether regions when you wipe (gross, i know.  sorry).  And, the other base rule we’re given is when in doubt, count it and the following three days as fertile.  That’s a one paragraph summary of what takes quite a while to learn but hopefully it’ll help!

And, I”m glad I”m not the only one whose Darling Husband has no idea how badly I’ve been bitten by the baby bug 😉
