Hi ladies. So mid elaborate day dream about getting a bfp on Christmas morning I had a question. How long does a bfp last on the stick? Does it fade in hours? Days?  Just torturing myself with images of getting up early to POAS and wrapping up a bfp for dh to open when we exchange presents. Or when he wakes up more likely. Just checking that in my fantasy world it won’t have faded. πŸ™‚ I have nothing better to do while hanging out at 7dpo here!

@MrsFireChief:  Thanks! Sorry about AF. I’m not feeling very optimistic myself. We’ll see.

By The Way are you are babycentre boards? I just saw someone with your same icon and thought it might be you. I’m not on there but it comes up a lot when I’m googling.

You guys…I just…I can’t believe it.

The lines are a lot darker than they look in the pic! I POAS, and just sat there in disbelief. Total disbelief.

Please let this be a ray of hope for other women with PCOS. I did not ovulate at all on my own and on my first cycle of clomid I became pregnant! Just a miracle.

I am, however, terrified of a miscarriage. Any advice on getting past that pervasive fear?

Thank you bees SO MUCH for your support and love!!! FX for everyone else!

@Evie19:  congrats to you!!!!! it’s surreal isn’t it?!

@PatientBee:  my BFP FRER from 2 weeks ago is still very visible…I know it’s crazy that I still have it (in a drawer) but I keep meaning to take a cute Pinterest-y picture in front of the Christmas tree. Weird I know. At least it has a cover.

Good luck to everyone still waiting to POAS this month! Hoping for some Christmas BFPs! πŸ™‚

@littlebee3:  I truly cannot believe it.

I had all these intricate plans of how I would break the news to Darling Husband and my parents in these special ways…and honestly, I just ran down the stairs like a lunatic screaming to them that I’m pregnant! lol.

@littlebee3:  Um that’s not crazy at all. I still have my positive opk. Those are still visible so I guess I should have realized that it would be the same with a pregnancy test.

@Evie19:  Congratulations!  That’s awesome how fast the clomid worked.  Those are great, dark lines.

This thread is getting lonely since everyone got their bfp or moved on to the January thread.  Eleven more days left in December.  Fx for those of us left.

Still here too!

@Evie19:  I’m still new to ttc with pcos. Is there a way to know for sure if you are or aren’t ovulating without the help of a dr? Congrats to you! So exciting!!

@PatientBee:  Thank you! FX for you this month!

@Kabatchy2be:  Thank you! Basal Body temping is the only way for pcos women to figure out their ovulation patterns without a doctor- OPKs don’t work accurately for us unfortunately b/c our LH levels are off.

Good luck to you!!
