When are you ladies testing? I’m due to start AF Monday or Tuesday. I had a positive OPK on the afternoon of 11/26, so we BDed. I was positive all day on 11/27 but didn’t have a chance to BD again until Saturday, 12/1. So, it’s likely that the one time was my only shot (pardon the pun hehe). Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be CD 23. My cabinet is full of FRERs and the dollar store dropper tests. I’m not sure when to start testing but won’t be disappointed by a BFN, because I expect it. Thanks!

    @MrsMaskatobe & @glittermoon – gorgeous trees! I love Christmas!

    Current Cycle Day: CD20

Ovulation Date: Somewhere around the 26th … which was my birthday, so that would be great!

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: December 17th is when I should get AF this month, so put me down for that day!

    Cycles trying:  3rd cycle NTNP

BD timing: We kind of failed this month. We did O and the day after. Period tracker had my O date as the default, which was basically a week later. By the time I realized it, it was O date.

If Money Was No Object, What Car Would You Get?:  Something definitely way-lame … like a crossover or such. More room for baby carseats! ๐Ÿ™‚

What December Holiday Do You Celebrate, If Any (If You Want To Share!!!): We celebrate Christmas!

Any Fun Family Specific/Location Specific Traditions?: We did my DH’s extended family Christmas on Thanksgiving and will do his immediate family on the 16th. It just works out for everybody that way. We go to my family’s Christmases on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

@ChuckNorris:  yay to O! Good thing you were able to get some BD in before DH left for work. All it takes is one little guy to get in there ๐Ÿ™‚

Cycles trying:  this is the 2nd

If Money Was No Object, What Car Would You Get?: Mercedes G550 SUV or Range Rover SUV

What December Holiday Do You Celebrate, If Any (If You Want To Share!!!): Christmas

Any Fun Family Specific/Location Specific Traditions?: I grew up a Christmas Eve girl. we always go to my aunts Xmas eve, then to stay at my dads, then home in the am, open presents w/DH, then go to DH’s brother to exchange gifts w/his family. whew! Crazy busy.

@MrsMaskatoBe:  I think you may be right, that we are the same age! =) Happy early birthday, though! How did you like having a Christmasy birthday? We are celebrating Christmas early with DH’s family –  I think the weekend before since DH will be gone for all of Christmas. FIVE AM FOR PRESENTS!?!?!?!?!?! I would die. Lol. Very rarely do I get up at 5 AM…I temp at 545, but promptly fall back asleep. LOL. Your tree is adorable!!! =)

@hardtoconcentrate:  I say as long as you consider the same amount of bleeding/spotting as CD1 the same every month, then you should be fine. I say that you count the day of the full on bleeding as CD1, because thats how I do it and it’s really hard to discern that amount of spotting from cycle to cycle. There are several sites that say different things though, FF says ANY red spotting, as long as it’s red, is CD1. I don’t do this because I usually start spotting brown at 7-9DPO, then a bright, red, watery flow comes out, like literally drips into the toilet, then stops for almost 24 hours. I’m sorry, but that just does not feel like the start of my period!! lol. This goes on for 2-3 days!!! It’s so annoying. So that’s why I don’t do that. But people who use CBEFM’s say that the instructions say that CD1 is the first MORNING you wake up with flow. So if you were to start bleeding a 2 PM on Wednesday, you would call Thursday CD1. I don’t like that because of the same reason I don’t like the FF thing. LOL. But as long as you do the same thing every month, it shouldn’t matter too much. You know? About The Watch.. It got HORRIBLE reviews (I think it was like 17% on IMDB…lol) and literally everyone I know hated it. But we didn’t know anything about it and were a little tipsy and were just kinda in a stupid-cheesy-funny-movie mood, and we LOVED it (by we I mean my best friend and my husband). So, as long as you have a VERY open mind…you’ll like it. It’s pretty silly, looking back on it. Hahaha. WOW, you guys both have a PhD? My Brother-In-Law and SIL have a masters, and Brother-In-Law is working on his PhD. DH&I don’t, we picked jobs that are high paying with not much education (firefighting and nursing, lol, mine is still a WIP!). But we ALWAYS joke about it. Brother-In-Law said to SIL one night, “When I’m done with my PhD will you call me doctor?” And she responds with “Only if you call me master!” Hahaha. But since Brother-In-Law is still in school, he’s not making any money, but he always gives DH crap about his associate’s degree (in a loving, playful manner) and DH responds with “At least I’m making 6 figures!!” Haha. My in-laws have a very interesting dynamic. I love it! I’m definitely not used to it, though, since I don’t have siblings… What is your PhD in? Congrats on your job offer, that is AMAZING! OMG those orange danishes sound fab fab fab. I’m not a fan of oranges, but I LOVE pastries. SOOO MUCH.

PS – Describe us in one word? “Wordy.” LOL.

@glittermoon:  Yeah I got the same kind again =) Look at September’s chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/totesmahgoats I lost it during my LP…how STUPID is that chart! lol! So, ashamed to admit this, but I had to Google “Saturnalia.” Hahah. And Hanukkah! This is exactly why I wanted to ask that question, because I find everyone’s traditions/celebrations so interesting =)

@mtnhoney:  It’s (the article) helpful to not symptom spot, I will look for it! If someone hasn’t already given it to you! And I hear you about the negative comments- I go through the same thing with my weight. You should nurture your body and treat it like you would a child who is crying, with kind words and comforting thoughts. But, there are just some days where I feel fat and infertile and hate everything about myself.

@PilotsGirl56:  So you are about 5-7DPO now, ish. You could probably start testing as early as December 8, as long as you do it with FMU! I SO hope it works for you guys this month because that was pretty much our BD schedule as well.

@krystallite:  The link to your chart isn’t working! YAY that someone else celebrates on Xmas eve! Do you use OPK’s? With FF guessing about your O date, I would say maybe you should try those to help pinpoint.

Hey guys! I lurk you all daily, and I know how much you love your BFP pics, so I wanted to add!

    Current Cycle Day: CD26

Ovulation Date: Nov 24th, based on a +OPK on Nov 23rd with FMU and ovulation pain/pink spotting on Nov 24th

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Usual length is 28 days… POAS today — see below!

Cycles trying:  9th cycle overall since April 2012… 3rd since a chemical pregnancy in early September at 4w3d.

    BD timing: O day, O-2

This was today, 9 dpo, in the evening after just a 2hr pee hold! Line came up within 5 minutes (I stepped out of the room, then went back to check). Definitely pink/purple in person. Obviously very nervous, could even say skeptical, after my chemical pregnancy in September… but hopeful! Am going to try a FRER in the morning…

@ChuckNorris: You’re telling me! I’m actually hand making all of my Christmas gifts that I’m giving out and doing what feels like a hundred job interviews. I feel like I’m probably out because we didn’t BD very well, so I’m not as anxious as normal!

@SproutBee:  Congratulations, mama! ๐Ÿ™‚ 9DPO is pretty early, and that is definitely a line! FX that it’s a sticky baby — I had a CP in October and that is one thing that makes me so nervous about another BFP.

@SproutBee:  Omg, how exciting! I’m so sorry about your chemical… Try not to worry too much though, that line is DAMN dark for 9DPO! I cannot wait for your FRER update in the AM!

@krystallite:  Haha YES! That is madness! LOL. Okay, that one worked. I bet its just because of your longish cycle last time… hopefully with more temps it will narrow down! Also pay close attention to your CM…that will give you a good idea (hopefully!) of when it may happen! =) I got EWCM five days before O this cycle. Weird!
