@kenziemt:  woohoo, first December BFP! Congrats, mama 🙂

As for me, just haaaanging out here at 4DPO. So far staying strong and NOT symptom spotting/obsessing, which is a huge improvement over last cycle. I just keep telling myself we timed it the best that we could and it’s out of our hands now. I do have a feeling I’ll break down and test before the 10th, though.

Thanks all! I am starting to get excited! After getting a second BFP this AM, my DH asked, “So when do we tell our parents?” I said, “I plan to wait a few months!” He said, “Erm, I just sent a pic of the two sticks to my mom.” ::Silence::

Then he cracked up! Geez! I nearly died but his joking means he’s happy!

@IAmTheShadow:  Thanks! He’s still okay, they are monitoring him, no obvious need for surgery just yet…that’d be a good 3k that we would certainly prefer to save!

@kenziemt:  HA! Can you imagine? DH why are you photgraphing the pee sticks? Duh, to send to my mom.

Now the other way around is perfectly acceptble. Wife, why are you photographying the pee sticks? To share to random people on WB of course. Duh!

I got a positive OPK today so I’m right on track for my predicted POAS date! Woot! Though the lines look funny to me, should I be concerned? According to my chart, stats, and symptoms I should be Oing tomorrow!

@Treejewel19:  Oh, the insanity of POAS!

@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d:  The test line is definitely darker. I see what you’re saying, the lines look striated – but since everything else is lining up I agree that you’re on your way!

I just started charting last month (after several months of no luck), so I’m still a bit fuzzy on all this, but here goes!

    Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD7

Ovulation Date/fertile window: Last month, I had a positive OPK on CD13 – I guess that means I probably ovulated somewhere from CD13-CD15?  So, I’m thinking maybe Dec 7-9 this month.

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Gonna try to wait until Dec 23!  / 29 Days

    Cycles Trying: 6

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Prenatals, DHA.  Just added the Clearblue Fertility Monitor this month, so will start BDing daily during all indicated high fertility days.

    and for fun –

What would you REALLY, REALLY love for a holiday gift (other than the obvious BFP of course…) ?  My mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer last week & we’re still going through the initial phases of meeting with different surgeons, etc.  Luckily they caught it really early – tiny tumor, phase 1 – but it’s still really scary.  So I would LOVE for an easy surgery for my Mom, and most of all, for them to tell us it has not migrated to her lymph nodes!  Which would mean no chemo & a very good chance that she’ll be entirely cured.  C’mon Santa!!  🙂

    Good luck everyone this month!!
