So after much personal deliberation, I decided to rock the gap instead of having the jeweler remove the scroll underneath my halo so the band would sit flush.
I’ve grown to love the gap (even though its only been a day since the wedding). 😉
I can’t bring myself to get the small scroll removed.

If you’re happy then good:) Your e-ring is really pretty. So big and sparkly!

I love it! Looks great! I have a similar halo ring, but the wedding bands will sit underneath it. Sometimes I secretly wish I was rocking the gap too, though!!

If you love it, that’s all that matters! Congratulations!

Please leave it as it is. The gap looks brilliant – I dont really understand this need some seem to have for the ring to be totally flush! If you get rid of the scroll your engagement ring will ‘hide’ your wedding ring!
Don’t do it!!xx

Leave it and rock the gap! – Once the scroll is gone, there is not getting it back and I think you’ll regret it. It’s such a beautiful ring and looks perfect with your ERing just the way it is.

I think it’s beautiful!
I, like PP, don’t get the whole “rings must sit perfectly flush or the world will end!” thing that people seem to have going on. My engagement ring and wedding band are 2 different rings. I don’t WANT them to look like the same ring. But to each their own!
However, the only thing I would worry about with your ring is the wear and tear of your wedding band on that gorgeous little scroll. You might just want to keep an eye on it and make sure it’s not causing any damage.

so did I! just got my band

@heathuhhhhwebbbb: It would look perfect without the scroll! No gap!

I love the scroll. Rock the gap!

@heathuhhhhwebbbb: leave the scroll!! It makes it so unique! I don’t see anything wrong with having a gap!!

I think it looks great. TBH the poll isn’t necessary since you already made an executive decision and people are going to disagree w/ you.

I like the unique detail and the gap!

I LOVE a gap! I purposely had mine designed so it would leave a gap. I love seeing the 2 separate rings. Makes the diamond pop more IMO. Your set is beautiful!
