Beautiful! I’ve stopped getting highlights. The last time I had them was last June for my brother’s wedding. The growout process is relatively pain free, as my hair is naturally light brown. Now I just look like a trendy ombre hipster. I’m tempted to get more highlights, but I keep telling myself that I’ll kick my butt once that annoying root line line shows up. Brown hair dye always looks artificial on me too, so I’m stuck with 2 tone trendy hair until I get the nerve to get it styled cute and short!

I grew mine out over the course of about a year! Don’t forget regular trims, though, to keep it healthy!

I’m not the biggest fan of really long hair, though, and I finally got my post-wedding chop this past weekend. Hallelujah!

I have religiously tried to grow my hair out since last april. I havent colored it since then, and I’ve moved past the roots stage and have an “ombre” look going lolol but its not bad, in fact ppl ask me where I got my ombre color? lol But I even refuse to apply heat to my hair unless I have to do and it really has grown ALOT. I’m in need of a trim, but had a horrible experience last time that I’m just so nervous it’ll be hacked and all my hard work is gone lol.

I like your hair dark. How long do you want it to be?

It looks beautiful brown! I’m the opposite- will do more blonde for our wedding, then prob go a bit darker after. My hair is long, almost past my chest and it grows so fast! Love your makeup as well btw- looks so perfectly natural!

I’ve been trying to grow my hair out for about 3 years, but due to a series of bad haircuts (read fist sized holes among other things) I’ve not made a ton of progress. I started when a student basically shaved  the back of my head(the closest thing you can do with scissors it was less than 1/2 an inch). I’ve got it about down to my collarbones now. My second to last haircut mistakenly cut 3 inches off when I said 3/4 inch or I would be a lot further.

My problem is that my hair is very very very thick with a texture shift. The top part is finer and wavy while the underneath is very coarse and curly. Most of the hairdressers I’ve been to have no idea how to handle someone with my type and as much hair as I have. I also have a bunch of allergies they have to watch out for which makes me a super fun customer. I’m not only allergic to shampoo and product, I’m also allergic to hair dye. I think I’ve finally found someone who does get my hair though and she lets me bring my own shampoo 🙂
