    I’d do it where it’s more convenient for your guests. That’s what did it for us. I grew up in Illinois and all my family is up there…but Fiance has a bigger family (plus all our friends) who live in Texas. My family is the only ones in our town, so we ended up in his hometown.

    Maybe try this…

    Imagine pulling out your wedding pics thirty years from now to show your grandkids.  What do you see? 

    Maybe that will reveal the place (hopefully) or maybe all you see is the two of you happy which may mean it won’t matter where you got married. 

    Something my FH reminds me of when I get upset because I can’t find the right edge puncher for our invites and a myrid of other tiny details.  In two years from now those decisions we sweat over won’t matter one bit to us.  We won’t even remember the way we agonized over every decision.  We will just look back at our day as magical.  I hope he is right!
