This is my second post ever. I’ve been lurking for months and finally made a profile so that I could get some opinions on these three MoissyCo rings:
If anyone has any IRL pics of any of these, feel free to post! I’ve seen a few people’s already on this site and I’m loving all of them. I love the look of being able to see the bottom V-shaped point of the stone (like in #3) and my concern is with the first two halos, it would be covered up and you can only see the top of the stone. I could be wrong though, because I’ve never seen any IRL.
Any opinions are appreciated 🙂

The MoissoniteCo facebook has some pictures of the first one. Not on a finger, but at least gives you an idea.
Personally, I don’t like how low set the halos are, and I actually love that soiltaire setting.

Have you checked out the BTD forums? They have a dedicated board to Moissaniteco with a multi-page photo gallery so there would probably be some real-life pics there. By the way, all three of those rings are beautiful.

I like the first one. The second one seems a little busy, and I’m just not a fan of the tall, claw-type solaires.

The first one is beautiful!
The second one seems really busy and the third one is a bit plain for my taste.

@cirk: very helpful, thank you! I’ll check out the facebook page
@Miss Circe: I’ve looked around on BTD, and I found handshots of two of them but not Eng177. And I still can’t decide which one I like the best!
@Regina Phalange: thanks!
I’ll probably just send him the link to all three and let him choose. He has good taste, I’m just worried that due to my ring size (9, which is considered “custom order”) and/or the fact that I’m leaning towards the Amora, that I will not be able to exchange it if for some reason I don’t like it when I see it in real life.
I’m sure they’re all beautiful, it’s just so hard to tell in photos what they’d look like on my hand…

Definitely the first or second. Probably now that I think of it, the first. It was originally my choice before I found a cheaper setting on another web site. I’m almost positive this is the same ring as the first one. Now I’m rethinking my choice haha.

I love either #1 or #2 because I love round stones in cushion halos. I would lean toward #1 however because if you pair a wedding band with it you would have issues with the side diamonds in #2 rubbing against it.

I love the 3rd one, but I love rounds 🙂 so after that would be #1

i have a setting very similar to the third one, and Sugarpea has that ring and great pictures of it.
until she posts hers, here are some pics of mine (eng144):

Definitely the second one! But I am partial because its my ring, lol. Don’t have it yet tho (booo) but I’ve done a lot of research and have found some pictures and videos that might help you. You can PM me and I’ll send them to you, or go look at some of my posts and you’ll see them. It was a TOUGH choice between eng177 and eng163 for me, but ultimately I decided I wanted bling on the band since I will be spending many years seeing the side of it! I saw the video of it that the guy on BTD posted and it won me over.

@sleepyhead22: Wow your ring is GORGEOUS! I love that size center stone on you. Would you mind telling me your ring size/stone size?
@frogprincess: You’re absolutely right, and that’s something I never thought about before. We kind of decided not to have a wedding until after I finish graduate school (which will be 2015). So I’ll be wearing that sucker for 3 years before adding a band!
Does anyone know where to see IRL pics of either of those two halos with the band?
I would want them to sit flush with eachother. I don’t like the look of having a huge gap because of the halo, but I’ve never seen real pics of either of those MoissyCo halos with the band.

@Scorpio88: Is the setting you went with similar?

here’s the third one with a cushion
