twocaratpeony :  I suggest taking a look at Ritani. I have a 6 prong tiffany style setting and they do custom work as well. Most of the time they work with one of your local jewelers so you can view the stone, they overnight it. I have also found their diamond prices to be better and their upgrade program is better too.

Any questions you have, PM me. Diamond buying is all about compromise. For myself, cut is key, color is important but not critical and clarity is strictly a mind-clean need. (I have stones from SI1 to VVS1 and you would be hard pressed to tell which is which. This is because I don’t get stones with cloud inclusions) When it comes to round brilliant diamonds, I  prefer AGS stones because they have been evaluated for light performance. GIA doesn’t do this, so their cut grading can be very hit or miss. The best stones tend to go to AGS so they can get the 000 grade.
