I thought I found the perfect colors for a spring wedding. We’re going for rustic chic/ romance. Here is what I picked for a late May early June wedding:
Cream with touches of brown and light pink….sry for theknot pics!
Insert Dilemma- An October wedding is looking more desirable with my school load this semester but I still love these colors. Everything I look at for fall rustic is the orange and brown and burnt reds. Does this still fit? As of now our reception will be in the wooden lodge in a state park with stone walla accents and a fireplace. I’m a bit hesitant to go with to many dark colors since it will already be dark. Here is a pic of our reception cite
sorry it’s so small here is the link too. Just click the top pic on the left when it comes up. http://www.metroparkstoledo.com/metro//item.asp?item_id=2203
Any ideas or colors schemes welcome! Thank You!

I think the brown and cream definitely still fit an October wedding!

I think those colors would be more than fine for a fall wedding. You can really do whatever you want. I really don’t think it would be too dark.

I think your colors will still work perfectly.

I think those colours are brilliant for a fall wedding. If you’re concerned about it being to dark focus on the cream for decor and then add in the chocolate and pink.

I would say don’t worry about the time of year of your wedding and pick the colors you want. I doubt anyone will go to your wedding and say “Hmm…she used Spring colors in October?!” Also, I think your colors aren’t necessarily “Spring colors” – they’re going to be beautiful! My best friend got married in June and loved Fall colors so she had Fall colors; I’m getting married in September and have been drawn to lighther Spring colors, so that’s what I’m doing. I say go for it!

@hardtoconcentrate: haha. I just literally L-O-L! You’re right. I don’t think anyone will be judging my colors based on season. Very good point:)

I actually think these are more autumn colours than spring and I’m getting married in November and plan to use similar colours mainly because I think they are soft on the eye and very romantic!
I don’t think you can call this a dilemma, you’ve got it sorted!
