i recently got engaged to my high school sweetheart of four and a half years and we were deciding on a date, he wants November 16, 2013 and thats fine but i want a winter wonderland themed wedding. November is Fall, not winter but i want to know if thats okay. i do not want people to think im crazy to have a winter wonderland wedding in november. i also liked the date December 7, 2013 but he says thats to close to Christmas and money is tight. please let me know what you guys think.

We are also doing winter theme in november (black friday). I would stray away from December becuase the holiday’s are so hectic, but at least here November may as well be winter. We actually get more snow in November than December on a typical year…

I’m have a wedding in novemeber too! And also winter themed 🙂 I really wanted a winter wedding but didn’t want a Decemeber wedding because how busy that month that already is, and most of my guests will be travelling!

@MissDW: Aww I originally wanted to do a black friday wedding too!! Unfortunetly my aunt (more like 2nd mother) is a big manager at Macy’s so black friday would have make it almost impossible for her to me there and that just wanted about to happen. Are you considering putting any fun black friday ideas into your wedding?

Creating a winter wonderland in Texas sounds like a fun thing to do any time of the year–it’s all in the theming 🙂

@Ms. Safari- I have a little of the “cant get off work” drama with my Future Sister-In-Law, and some hunting season issues with my grandpa… Grandpa hasn’t been really in my life a whole lot other than an occasional phone call so if he doesn’t come because he wont take one day off from hunting…it is his own problem I guess. If Future Sister-In-Law doesn’t take off work I honestly wouldn’t be bothered, we have an awful relationship and would no mind onnne bit if she wasn’t there.
As for black friday ideas not really. We are having a family thanksgiving (early afternoon) and thinking about doing Thanksgiving for the rehersal dinner too. The rehersal will be the day before thanksgiving rather than on the day, and Im spending the day of with my bridal party as much as possible relaxing. The girls were talking about hitting up some midnight shopping all together with cute shirts becuase we are all big shoppers, but I think it may be too stressful..,
Otherwise that is about it!
