I am VERY indecisive.
i started off with a fancy ball gown. i now have a flowy chiffon strapless dress that i love and is more appropriate for my outdoor wedding reception.
the lovely woman at DB talked me into getting a finger tip veil and a gorgeous tiara to go along. which dont get me wrong, i love both of them.
BUT, for some reason since ive been engaged ive wanted to wear a bird cage veil. no obviously that wouldnt go well with a ball gown. but with my new dress im thinking, why not?
i also really love these
i think the tiara and fabric of the veil do not go well with the dress and are too fancy for the dress.
when my dress coems in in november i am going to try on some bird cage veils to see how itd look. i think theyre so classy and elegant.
also, this is the kind of hair sstyle i am going for.
opinions please bees!

i think the flower combs would look best with your dress, but if you want a veil then add a birdcage veil for the ceremony and then just wear the flower for the reception.

I love the birdcage because you get the veil AND the lovely flower, which I think works best with the dress

@pb and j: i never thought of that. thanks for the idea

@millaybrowning: thats what i was thinking

Love the bird cage the best for the ceremony then the flower for the reception. I personally think the veil and tiara do not go with the dress.

I agree that the birdcage veil and flower for the reception would look great

I think the birdcage veil goes best with the dress, yet it’s still elegant. I would not go with the veil and tiara.

I like the birdcage/hair flower combination!

My opinion – go with the birdcage. It will look perfect with your dress and ideal for the outdoor ceremony.

@MrsStepHanson: and you know, thats what ive always wanted. and this one looked amazing with my first dress but just doesnt feel right here.
(i also went to a wedding not long ago and the bride was so elegant and 50’s looking and it looked amazing)
made me want it even more!
