I thought you had two bands on in the first photo.  I completely understand having a large engagement ring and still wanting a band, but because yours looks like it has two bands I wouldn’t add more than maybe one more (or just a plain band, or a plain band with engraving on it if you want to jazz it up a bit).

I like the first picture. Not to sure what’s going on with all the other bands.

bwarfield2:  I would just get a plain band for now and see how you like it first and then add another more blingy band.  I would be afraid that a blingy band would take away from your ering.

bwarfield2:  Your ERing is beautiful! I like the look of the set in the fourth picture from the top. I think that is with one band from Zales? I also think a plain band, either the same metal or a contrasting metal would be beautiful because both the ERing and the band would stand out as separate rings.

Trying to put a band with a thicker ring can be a challenge. I went through the same thing, and it was a frustrating search trying to find some thing that felt “just right”.

bwarfield2:  Also with that plain band if you get it cheap, you can try it out and if you really don’t like it you didn’t spend all that money on it.

alternatively, you could wear this on your right hand after the wedding, and have a blingy wedding band on your left hand. that way you get to wear both rings AND have them blingy!

I love your engagement ring and wouldn’t add anymore bling to it. The only way that I think you’ll be able to see your wedding band is if you wear a plain white gold ring.

I do understand the need to bling out, but I think you already have it.
