I know the bees, and I think photos of you ring and then photos of the bands you are considering (stock photos are fine) would help! 🙂

For a plain shank halo I really like plain or pave bands, since those incorporate elements of the ering.  Of the two options you’re asking about, a slim bezel band might look nice because you have round brilliants in the band and the halo.  I think it really helps to try something similar on – I got a cheap cz band from Overstock which i wore for a bit with my ering to see if I’d want to wear it long term.  While I think they looked pretty together, I ended up going with a plain band because it was the most cohesive look.

@alyciassecret:  That’s pretty wide (3-4mm). How wide is the shank of your ering? I was told by my jeweller not to get a wedding band that was wider than my ering shank. My ering is 3mm at its widest (the band gets wider near the stones) and I ended up deciding between 2mm and 2.5mm for the wedding band (I ended up getting 2.5). Have you tried on bands in the 3-4mm range?

@alyciassecret:  Unfortunately I don’t have my wedding band yet, as it is being made right now. But I can show you a picture of a 3mm band with my ering…

4mm is pretty wide, but people some people can pull it off – if you look up jcent’s peachy pink moissy set, she’s got an incredible wide eternity ring she wears with a halo.  I really do recommend trying rings on together – when i tried wider bands with my ering, it just looked weird on me.  It’s really suprising what a difference even .5mm can make.

Can you share a pic of your e-ring? I can picture the bands but don’t know what to match them with…

I’m personally not a fan of channel set.

However, I personally much prefer 3/4 eternity to full eternity; I just don’t like the idea of having diamonds in the palm of my hand, and 3/4 is enough that it looks totally full.

Also, if you have that small of fingers, I’d for sure go with the 3mm not bigger 🙂  That already makes your set 5mm wide.
