I’ve been to the Bahamas before. We took a cruise from Ft. Lauderdale and stayed in Freeport. I was not really impressed and would probably never go back. I haven’t been to Costa Rica, but I’ve seen pictures and it looks amazing!! So I voted for Costa Rrrrrrrrica!!

I’ve never been to Bahamas before, but I feel like its just another island and beach.  I went to Costa Rica a few years ago and really enjoyed it.  There’s beach, rain forest, waterfalls, a volcano…you can do rafing, hiking, zip lining, atv…  the culture is completely different and its a great experience.  You arent going to find monkeys on the beach stealing peoples food in the bahamas.. hahaha.

Well, I was in Costa Rica on a cruise, so I will just say don’t go to the Atlantic side. I hear the Pacific side is beautiful. Going to an all inclusive in the Bahamas will be different than being at port. I have seen some really pretty pictures of the Bahamas as well.

I think you should see what kind of activities there are to do in each of the places because that may determine where you want to go.

I have not personally been there, but I have a cousin whose husband’s family retired there. She said its one of her favorite places in the world, and this is coming from a girl who has been to 6 continents and about 47 countries, so I’m going to take her word for it, which is why I voted for Costa Rica.

Never been to either, but both sound lovely! I’m no help!
