Hey fellow Bees :o)
I purchesed my wedding dress a couple of months ago. It’s a tea-length dress, ivory i color (my 2nd wedding). I adore this dress and I searched high and low to find a great deal on it and managed to actually find it. I just love my wedding dress. I have had a really hard time finding shoes that I like. I know that usually tea-length dresses are worn with high heels or kitten heels but I am struggling with this. I realize I may need the heel because I am only 5’3 1/2″ tall but I haven’t found any yet that I really felt were “me”, if that makes sense? On the other hand, I have found a pair of ballet flats that are absolutely adorable and I think will look good with the dress. I am just wondering about it because of my height. I have already read several threads on here about this same subject and it seems many people are for it, and just as many are not, lol.
So I thought maybe if I attach a photo of the dress, and of the ballet flats, maybe it would help so that I could get ya’lls thoughts and opinions?? It’s worth a try! Our wedding is in 4 months!

You have to remember that in the end, it’s what you decide. I think if you can’t find anything with a heel that you love, then why wear it?! Since you already love these flats, you might as well wear them with your dress, there’s no rule somwhere that says you have to be a certian height. I think they will look great together!

Thanks so much for your feedback!!
Sadly these shoes are discontinued in the size/color I need and want :o(
I emailed the company and they were very promp with their return email but I am sad because I really loved these shoes! They suggested these to me…I like them but they don’t as well with my dress. What do you guys think?

The color and fabric of the shoes match fine. It is the look of a flat with a tea length that is in question. Can you try on your dress with a pair of flats so that we can see?Usually a heel gives “that look” that we are familiar with. The question is… What is the look you get with a tea length and a pair of flats? We can’t tell from separate pics of the dress and shoes. We need to see someone wearing both at the same time.
