some have you have seen my current wedding set. The baguettes, but I’ve always said I’m not sure whether I was 100% sure on it. I always wanted to see what a plain band would look like. So… I got my hands on a plain band (albeit a tungsten ring), so I wont be able to wear this particular ring with my ering as its white gold. ( heard you cant mix them as tungsten might wear off The white gold). I like the simplicity of the plain band, it lets my ering shine more. Anyway, seebelow pics which do you bees prefer??

@Karebearry: I’d go with a thinner plain band (in the pic it looks a bit thick) or with the baguettes. I prefer the pic w. the baguettes.

@canarydiamond: thanks! yes, the plain band is a bit thick, perhaps one the same thickness or slightly thinner than my ering. Appreciate your input!

I have a very similar, tapered-baquette, e-ring setting, but in platinum, with a round center stone.
I love that setting with an emerald-cut diamond, and I love the baguette wedding band with your e-ring!!

I think a thinner plain band that better matches the metal of your e-ring would look great!

I’d be interested to see what you end up goin with…I have a very similar e ring and have been leaning towards a plain band myself because I felt the baguettes were too showy to wear with the engagement ring. But I haven’t tried any on yet…so who knows!

@Brielle: thank you! What type of wedding band did you pick?
@funnyhoney52: yeah, I need to try one on, a but thinner and whiter!
@MsRealityTV: is your ering an emerald cut Too? Do you have a pic?

Baguettes! I love them and have them in both my ering and wedding band. I love your set!

@Karebearry: Because my center-stone is round, I chose a 1-ct., half-eternity band in a shared, petite-prong Setting.
ETA: Also, don’t forget about my baguette thread on which you posted. Looking at that thread my further inspire you. I know Palored also has a beautiful, emerald-cut center stone in a tapered-baguette setting, but I haven’t ever seen her post her wedding band. I wonder what style she chose.

I like the plain one, but maybe a smidge thinner

While I normally prefer diamond bands, I’m not crazy about the baguette one. It definitely matches, but it’s just kind of blah. I too think a thinner plain band would look very pretty/

@Brielle: yes! I remember now! Thanks. I will revisit the thread. Your ring is awesome, i think your wedding band matches great!
@MASPA: yes, i’ll have to see if i can get a thinner one for reference!
@SnowInApril: appreciate your input! Thanks!!

@Karebearry: I also agree with @funnyhoney52: that a thinner plain band would showcase your engagement ring nicely.
I love you ring! Do you mind telling me what the center stone carat is for your emerald?

I love the baguettes! I tried one on with my ring, but it didn’t look nearly as nice as yours does. I went with a plain 2mm wg band and then dressed it up with my eternity band and anniversary band. (lol – yep, 4 rings). But even one small pave ring as an anniversary gift between the plain wg ring and your e-ring might look nice too.

@JustLove25: thanks for the input. I will definetely try and get a pic with a thinner white goldband. I dont mind divulging details! my centre stone is .54 ct. F colour, VS1.
@womanofsubstance: not a bad idea too!
