What was the problem? You don’t want guests to see the outdoor restrooms? Will the facility let you cover the exit?

I don’t think it’s an eye sore at all, if you hadn’t told me it was a bathroom, I wouldn’t have known… I think if you put up a curtain or lattice, it will ruin the open feeling that area has.

i think it’s fine as it is – decorating it might add more attention, rather than detract. if you do want to cover it though, capiz shell curtains might be fun – they’ll reflect the light after dark too i think. what about bamboo / rattan type shades – i don’t know if those are hard to install on a temporary basis.

What about some white room dividers?  Or even bamboo ones?

I think I like the idea of sheer, white curtains that are sort of billowy?  That way if there’s a breeze, they’ll move with it and blow around.  Otherwise, I agree with the others — people might not even notice it!

You know, I really doubt that people will even notice it. Curtains would be lovely if you decide to go that route, but I don’t think you need ribbons. If you want more coverage, you could layer a white sheer curtain with an ivory sheer curtain which, incidentally, is how I’ve decorated our bedroom so our windows still let in light but provide enough opacity for privacy. The dual color keeps it from looking too heavy and provides a bit of motion just in the color change.

Yeah I would go as simple as possible, because you want the open feel and thats what beachy stuff is, nice and simple, So I would just do sheer curtains, no ribbons.

I agree…I don’t think it’s a big deal.  Although you could embrace the bathroom and put a cute sign for the boys and a cute sign for the ladies?  Something that fits your decor?

If you did want something up what about a DIY project.  Like hanging garland or pompoms…
