I am in love with having aqua and black for my wedding colors. But I am set on also having hot pink gerbers within my floral arrangements. Now I’m stuck on what to do for place cards and decor. How do I make it all come together with out being color overload. I’m also really interested in a rustic look. My wedding is in June 2012…any advice?! I need some guidance!

Hot pink and aqua can certainly be used. I would keep the black as only hits of color.
You can bring in the rustic aspect by your choice of vases, glassware, candles, accessories etc,
substitute hot pink for the softer pink in this board and you will see it is the choice of mason jars ,cake stands and cut glass that give it that rustic/vintage feel
these are cute rustic placecard holders-a wooden spool with burlap-you can use a placecard edged with pink or aqua
little sections of branches with a slit for the cards are adorable and definitelu rustic
or these little nests and bird placecards

For a more rustic look, you might need to tone down the colors (i.e. pastels or lighter pinks/aquas) – Have you considered gray instead of or in addition to black? That might help too!
