Decorating ceiling

    mathis27 :  your ceiling is not tall like those in the pictures you have for inspiration. I think it would shorten your ceiling even more and cause a more cramped feeling. 

    Some uplighting will do wonders but won’t add bulk, ask your venue or DJ.

    mathis27 :  I totally agree with teacher-bee-in-the-sea :  I don’t think any of the options are going to give the effect you’re looking for, but then again, I don’t think anyone is going to notice or miss it. If money is no object and you really hate the ceiling, I would ask your coordinator for ideas that will work better for the space. Remember that with your linens, flowers, etc, it’s going to look MUCH more weddingy than that photo which is set up for a business meeting.

    If you do do anything to the ceiling, I’d choose the paper lanterns, and keep them pretty high up.

    mathis27 :  I didn’t say it was short, but those ceilings look lifted at least 20ft high. Maybe the picture doesn’t do the 14ft justice.
