We’re going to the florist in a little less than two weeks to figure out exactly what we want. This is our ceremony spot and I’ll also attach my two bouquet inspirations. I’m thinking maybe dark red petals spread over the “aisle” and maybe a single flower tied to each of the end chairs but I’m wondering if that should be it? I’m not a fan of aisle runners and I like the simplicity of that but if anyone else has any other ideas I’d love to hear them. Also, we’re probably going to put the chairs (white padded folding chairs) in the gazebo with us since there will only be 20-30 guests.

How about some beautiful garlands around the edge of the railings (handrails) and the woodwork on the gazebo? Lots of greenery with your flowers and colors woven into the garland? If it is at sunset, you could even add teeny lights to the garland for a glimmery effect.
I love that.
Have an aisle of petals. Use lighter color but of same color on outside of aisle and then line the center with the darker colored petals.

I do like the idea of the flowers around the handrails with the lights. I think it’ll be kind of light outside but the sun might be going down enough to create the glimmer effect. And I love the idea of maybe pink petals toward the outside of the aisle and red on the inside.

ohh the gazebo is beautiful.. i would go with panels of fabric on it and just the rose petals.. it is a stunning venue….

This is so pretty! We are having flowers tied to the colums. However, I also love the idea of the garland. If you are not having chairs like your aisle because they are on the inside of the gazebo I would do something to line the outside of the aisle walk way. Maybe candles or shep hooks or pots evenly spaced out.

Another question kind of related, mainly about the chairs. Should we go more traditional and have chairs facing the one way and enter on one side of the gazebo with the officiant on the other side or have the chairs in a circular pattern on either side of the gazebo? (I hope that makes sense, everyone could probably be in a “front row” this way but I’m not sure how it’ll look) We go back to the gazebo in a couple of weeks so I’m going to try to visualize all the different ideas while we’re there and look more at logistics of how things can work.

bump for the chair question

For the chairs, I’d place them in a semi circle. It’s a small and intimate ceremony and I think this will make your guests feel closer to you. One idea for your chairs would be for you to wrap ribbon around the chair, and slide a flower into the ribbon.
Then write in fancy writing for all the guests to please pull out the flower and hand them down to you when you go down the aisle. (You could think of a nice saying or something for this). Then everyone “makes” your bouquet. I love the flowers in the second photo. When you get to the end of the aisle you can have your mother tie one ribbon around it, and your mother in law tie another one.
For the gazebo, I would have the tall flowers on nice matching tables one each side of the enterance you are coming in on. Just some ideas, enjoy! Congrats on your big day!

I would put the chairs in a semi-circle on each side but not just in one row.
I would put 5 or 6 chairs in 2 rows on each side.
