I have a September wedding and now that I have all of the big things figured out, I am CONSTANTLY thinking about all the little decorative details. I have this grand vision in my head and keep buying things (albeit on the cheaps and most of it DIY) but my questions to you ladies is this:
Looking back, did all the decorative details matter in the end? Did your photographer capture it so that you have all your hard work to admire for a lifetime? Did it make a big difference in the ambience?
THe more I plan this, the more I realize I want it feel absolutely magical. But I feel exhausted thinking about it 🙁

I think I’m going to be like you!! I OVERBUY on things when i’m trying to create wonderful masterpieces! Like my shoes I customise for people… they get a wonderfully (hand) covered shoe box, with nice tissue paper inside, spare crystals, care card, business cards, personalised label on shoes and box etc… does anyone ever comment on how wonderfully presented back to them they were?! No! I LIKE details myself… but is that because I’m a perfectionist nutjob?
I’ll be interested to hear the consensus. I need to plan my reception and already have ideas by the ocean-load whizzing around my head. But will anyone notice? I bet not! :-/

@bearsreddy: Well, I suppose the ladies just dont want to deal with this one!! haha.
Well you might be a perfectionist nut job but I like details too and I get going on making things and I just can’t STOP. It’s like my brain clicks and wants to keep going and going and going.
I’ve decided that it’s my wedding and I can do anything i want to!!!!
